We just got back from an amazing break spent at the Lantern. All family members are so friendly and nice, guesthouse is spotlessly clean and the room was beautiful. Thank you so much for making our second stay so relaxing and welcome. Be back soon🙂.

Great stay

Well done and a BIG thank you to Joseph and his family for making this a unforgettable short holiday.
My wife and i have just spent the weekend at Lantern Guesthouse, Marsalforn were everything was excellent. Cleanliness all-around and great choice of English and continental breakfast prepared by Joseph’s mother and all the family.
It was evident, that once you go to the Lantern, you keep on going there as Joseph and his family make you feel appreciated
I recommend this guesthouse to all and surely it won’t be the last time that we go there again.

An excellent weekend at the Lantern Guest house

They are very friendly and good people. They have a really great customer service. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely come back here when we come to gozo again. We think it is one of the best in malsaforn with a neat and tidy bed we loved it. 

Very nice place with good customer service

Good place for a short holiday. Place is very clean and well kept. Although you cannot park a vehicle near to the guest house, there is z free public parking not so far away. The owners are very helpful. Breakfast is abundant. What else do you need? Thank you Joseph.

Amazing Christmas break

Discusting service. Firstly they try to charge a price of 5 stars but their rating is 1star only. The furniture in the place is old in every room that nothing is ever updated here. The towels are good for rags and no soap provided for their dreaming of 5star rating is 1 star rating. Their beds are so uncomfortable that they are to stingy to buy new beds. The whole place needs a bull dozer through it. Joseph makes the breakfast his only good to make eggs and toast. They are rude and unfriendly and the rooms are not secure or safe. Stay away from this place it’s not good to waiste your money here. The rooms don’t even have coffee or tea and no kettles. The air conditioning doesn’t work and the tv is just a cheap one from the supermarket. No blankets. When asking for things here it’s like you need a gold ticket. They treat poor people like rubbish.They discriminate on the basis of what you look like and tell you the place is full if you are poor. Be careful and aware of this scammers.

Beware of this Guesthouse in Malta

Great quality for the price , what I loved was how clean it was and the aircon ,that was working perfectly . The room had a small bathroom and a double bed for myself . The breakfast was great Joseph and his family were doing it for you and you could choose from different options. Joseph is great super attentive and always trying to help , for example my check out was in the morning but I was not leaving Masalforn until the afternoon , Joseph let me save my belongings in the guest house and also be able to take a shower before I left after being in the beach , not all places do that for the customer .  
My stay was great I would come back to stay in Lantern guest house for sure when returning to gozo.

Super clean and comfortable room, amazing service and staff.

The location was outstanding. The staff worked to accommodate any requests or questions we had. We needed a taxi on one day and the staff called around till they found one for us. Great customer service!

One downside is if you are bringing a large bag (we had scuba gear for two) be aware there are a lot of stairs. There is one small elevator for the upper floors, but you need to climb the first flight of stairs before you can use it.

Outstanding Location and Friendly Staff

On my business trip I spent two weeks in Lantern House, while awaiting a permanent accommodation. The owner Joseph did all he could have done to satisfy my needs. I was placed to the room 16 at the top floor, which I found quiet. The facility also provides a breakfast with reasonable variety of choices. The bus station is nearby, the same as sea front. There is a restaurant just next to the guesthouse, which also locals use to visit. The facility about my experience is exceptional by the approach of the owner to his guests, rarely seen anywhere else. Thank you Joseph again for your care.

Then owner who does care

We spent two nights here, bed and breakfast. This place is beautiful; breakfast was filling; rooms, both modern and clean.  Joseph and his staff were very helpful...always smiling and nothing to big or too small for him. I will definitely  come again to stay. Thank you.
