We were in Bucerias for six weeks, and thought we would check out the Canadian resort for maybe next year’s vacation, NOT! Old run down place. The rooms they showed us were dingy and dirty. The hallways to the room were filthy. The girl at the reception was very disinterested in us, however, Jesus, did do better, trying with his broken English and phone translator to answer our questions. They wanted three thousand a month, for what basically is a fleabag, rundown hotel! Do not waste your time or money!

Bad service, we thought we could leave our belongings to someone else in the hotel room, but we realized that it wasn't, because the day we arrived we were robbed of money and the hotel didn't want to hold us responsible, we felt fine in the hotel but the experience of ruining the money was stolen.

 Vacations ruined due to a robbery.

Settled in alongside a beautiful estuary, this place is clearly mismanaged and sadly misplaced. From run down rooms to rock hard mattresses and pillows. It’s as if the owners went on a permanent vacation and don’t put anything back into their investment. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed upon arrival. Lobby was filthy with their resident cat hair all over the seating.  Anything on the grounds and including the lobby furniture that is made of wood is rotting and bug eaten. I would definitely never recommend this place to anyone.  It’s just flat gross. Not a “resort”.

Waste of beautiful ubicación 

Be advised that this place is run down and poorly managed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Gardner/ doorman/ handyman/ bellboy, whom asked us to wait so he could take 10 minutes to retrieve a cart to help us with our bags. We were led to an office/lobby with bug eaten cat hair covered furniture, to check in and asked by the attendant for proof our reservation. 
I provided our prepaid reservation info. She insisted that my reservation was invalid and I needed to pay a cash deposit until the reservation showed up in her system. 

Checked into dilapidated room #1, where the fridge, when plugged in sent sparks flying. Then to the replacement room which stinks of humidity and is run down.

From the grounds, to the service, to the habitations. This is not and should never bear the name “Resort” in its title. Well maybe “last resort”. 

Until now, I have never written a bad review. Just felt it necessary to warn anyone who might consider this place. 

Dilapidated and poorly managed 

Hotel in total abundance and neglect, the mattresses with sprayed resorts, the trash inserts, the lost towels and the holes, if you want to take a shower you have to wait for the boiler to take.in conclusion lacks the most basic services and amenities.Nothing is recommended.

Hotel in ruins

In the middle of a golf course, very economical, rustic, very comfortable and away from the noise... the access road is a bit winding, but in terms of cost-benefit it is a great option.

Amazingly quiet.

The hotel doesn't have a beach even though it's close to this one, its rooms aren't bad at all because they're equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, etc. What I'd complain about is that it's not easy to get into the hotel because you have to go through medium dark roads if you go at night and the air conditioning should be greatly improved because it doesn't work quite well.

Traveling with my husband for a couple of days, arriving at the hotel gave me the impression that the hotel is old, but in very good condition, the staff is incredibly friendly, the food is super rich, the pool is always warm and the view of the lake is wonderful, full of birds and different kinds of animals.

I am enchanted.

An excellent place to rest, come from a business trip and the place seemed very quiet and relaxed to me, the rooms well equipped and the staff very attentive.

I love this place, because it's in the middle of nowhere, it's about an 8-minute drive from the road and when you arrive you don't imagine such a magical place, the staff is amazing, Elfy's kitchen and Sandy's reception super attentive all the time, the lake is super pretty and the pool super quiet, the water temperature is perfect.
