Compared to the reviews we read, maybe we were lucky but we slept in a clean King size room. The downside was: hot water after 25 minutes of waiting if it went well. TV not working; breakfast and dining better skip it. Quiet but depressing atmosphere because it seems they have to close at times.

It has a parking lot, a party room and a large lobby, a pool and spacious and clean rooms. a good option for getting to the pyramids of calakmul chicannah, etc. has access to the lobby

Quiet and attentive.

It looks like an abandoned hotel, the dining room has a lot of dust and debris on the feet of chairs and tables. The room was filled with moisture (closed). The air conditioner had dust in its grilles, which we breathed into. There were 4 debris with its spiders in the bathroom, one on top of the towel, one under the toilet cup and one in each corner of the mirror.

No, I do not recommend it.

They had booked in this place. We preferred not to stop and choose another place. Old, dirty rooms, with a stench of mold. Worse bathrooms. Dirty and smelly linen. Common areas maintained and inadequate. It's almost deserted. Don't be fooled by the photos, this hotel is really bad. Avoid it!

It's disturbing. Stay away from us.

We were very well placed to avoid a lot of traffic for the next morning. When we arrive we feel like we are arriving in an abandoned holiday colony in the middle of winter! At the level of calmness we are served. However, a very nice staff, although it seems many for a dozen vacationers! We ate very well: dinner + little dej L advantage, you can have the apéro on the terrace at your convenience, without disturbing anyone!!

It's an abandoned vacation center!

It was comfortable. As other reviewers mentioned they do seem to have many issues. We ran out of tap water in the morning. They had no wine, no choice in beer, many items missing off of the menu. On the other hand they cooled out beer & wine without a fuss. Wifi worked just fine in the lobby area. The children enjoyed the pool. It worked just as a a pitstop on the road to the bats & calakmul.

Pitstop

We stayed one night, so that we could visit Calakmul early the next day. In the room the weather didn't work, the good weather was winter months, but in the warm season it must be unbearable. The room was very dry, basically. I had a TV with 2 channels and the rescue was that there was hot water and amenities in the bathroom. The WIFI only works in the lobby. The worst thing was the next morning, we had asked for breakfast to be prepared in a lunch box because we were leaving at 6 am. The lunch box was not ready and they didn't even have anything to give us with fruit or jam.

There is no regression.

This fairly large establishment is not old, but slightly deteriorated and quite isolated. The rooms are large and comfortable with local antenna TV.  It's certainly a quiet and tranquil place, perhaps the economical location closest to Calacmul.

Lonely

We were alone after being greeted by a staff who were probably happy to have a job in this lost corner. After seeing the room we decided to stay, uncomfortable in this place that was too quiet and somewhat disturbing and that allowed us to imagine scenarios worthy of a horror movie.

The hotel is abandoned

Oddly reminiscent of that Eagles song, 'Hotel California', this hotel was almost frightening in its emptiness and isolation and air of dereliction. Two women hung out at the reception, one of whom was watching a video on youtube and took no notice of us whatsoever when we arrived. The other greeted us and sent us to a room faraway that smelled very musty, was not very clean, the plaster on the walls of the bathroom was falling apart and crumbling, there was no bottled water, no vending machines, no restaurant. Our room was next to the only other occupied room in the whole hotel complex, which seemed huge in its emptiness. Wifi only works in the lobby. The women in the lobby were not very helpful and left soon after we arrived. We had to get back in the car and drive to find the nearest restaurant. Luckily El Mirador Maya and, even better, Rio Bec Dreams, are nearby for food, lodging and friendliness in this isolated jungle landscape!!! Do not under any circumstances stay at the Debliz Xpujil hotel. It is genuinely horrible, which is sad because it has potential but feels like the place has been abandoned a long time ago.
