It's a rustic hotel, in general the building isn't bad, we're willing to pay the price (which is cheap no es) for the prestige that Balderrama chain has, what's unacceptable is the poor attention of the reception staff, we're touched by a super rude and arrogant woman, make you feel like you're not in the right place, basically that's what I'm basing my rating on.

The service is terrible.

A very nice place, in the middle of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Very close to the Bahuichivo del Chepe station. Very comfortable rooms, with first-hand personal care. Good food, with fixed menu. The walks to nearby places are very interesting. Recommended the tour to the Mirador del Cerro del Gallego, with one of the best views of the canyons and the Sierra. Absolutely recommended. I make the comment that is virtually uncommunicated with the rest of the world. There is no cell phone, no WiFi. So you have to go in a plan of meditation and contact with nature.

A good hotel in a magical place.

Our visit was excellent here. it's a small town but beautiful places! you can't miss the wine tasting, the trip to the hill of Galilee with don Jaime and the walk to the waterfall with don Juanito. the service at the hotel Mission was very friendly and personalized. don Martin and the rest of the staff waited for us super well. highly recommended!

Hotel Misión good service restaurant. excellent food. clean rooms. I left a week ago. too cold. visit guide to the Recomendable mountain for family travel. very quiet place.

A visit to the Barrancas

The hotel is small, there is not much to do in this destination or at least not in the hotel. It has no extra activities that you can take (walks, visits, etc.), the town is small and somewhat isolated from other locations. There is no cellular coverage and the hotel's wifi, despite having a cost, it is very slow, it does not reach the entire hotel, it is saturated perhaps because it is not prepared to support many guests. In December, it is very cold in the rooms and they do not have electric heating, although there is a stove and fireplace, it is turned off with ease but if you pay attention to it every hour, I prevent the continuous experience of bad sleep.

A scale you can avoid

We had 4 bedrooms and everything was disgusting, the bedding, pillows, blankets, everything smelled old. The cleanliness in the room is zero. The attention to arrival is very bad, the attitude is terrible, the shower stalls are flooded, the climate was a triumph to serve. After more than 20 years of going up to 3 times a year, we are sure never to return. Only the restaurant staff is kind.

SUCIO and VIEJO

It's been more than 10 years and the hotel still retains its cozy appearance, its menus have been improved, the food of excellent quality. Its most comfortable beds, very clean rooms. An excellent staffing, always willing. An excellent option to visit this magical village.

ACOGEDOR and CENTRICO is a good example.

The hotel is located in the village of Cerahuaqui.It is practically the only comfortable hotel in the area although a little old.But the service is excellent and the food included is also Buenos.The wine they sell is a little expensive and there is no other option to consume.

A small street separates the Hotel de la Misión, which according to some records dates back to 1680 and is worth visiting. Not whether the vineyard is inside the hotel or the hotel inside the vineyard, but it is an unforgettable experience and certainly one to repeat. Spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant service, although with pre-established menus. A list of the branded wines that are made there. A small hotel that is actually a large air-conditioned jacuzzi. Most travelers arrive by train Chepe. I did it by road, with the luck of the road for previous trips, but the signage from the entronque of Bahuichivo, shines through its absence.

Excellent, away from the mundane noise.

We had booked to leave on the Chepe at 11:25, so having arrived at 10:25 was enough time; unfortunately they forced us to check in at 9 and left us at the train station at 9:40....... they said it was necessary........it was a lie they wanted to get us out of the hotel early and they had us at the train station for two hours unnecessary that we could have enjoyed the village or rested a little longer.
