The hotel has vines, apple trees and figs in the courtyards which make the surrounds very pleasant. We had a large comfortable room which was quiet bar the local dogs barking. The tours offered were very interesting. The set menu was fine (not really vegetarian) are the quality was good, two 3 course meals a day is a bit overfacing. There were few other guests so service was excellent. There is a small pool which was a good asset.

Good location

Wonderful on time service and people. Beautiful locations and buildings. Provide great conditions for workers and guests. Hotels provide a great service to the communities and guests they serve. Can't wait for the next trip. 

Copper Canyon Experience

Lovely hotel,set high in the Sierra Madre,this hotel is right in the centre of the village,next to a church,so you will hear bells!.Great bar and restaurant area,and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice and spacious with comfy beds. Vinyards are on site so local wine us good. Small pool and terrace area. There is however a cockerel in the garden!,but if you ask they can move him elsewhere.

Great location.

Beautiful setting and great wines at the tasting.  Rooms were comfortable. Food was excellent.  This place is in the middle of nowhere with no wifi.  It is a great place to relax and not be bothered by the world.  Staff were friendly and helpful

Quiet night

The Hotel Mision is a nice place to stay in the interesting village of Cerocahui.  The rooms are clean, the courtyard very pretty with a view of the top of the Mission just beyond.  From the hotel it is a nice walk to the waterfalls.

Nice hotel for the Copper Canyon area located in an interesting village

I loved sitting on the porch outside my room looking at the vineyard, the flowering cherry tree and the golden dome of the mission church.  This is a one level hotel arranged around two courtyards - one with grape vines.  There is also a lovely little heated outdoor pool and a game room with a fireplace.  The combined lobby/dining/sitting/bar area is cozy and comfortable.  

The room decor was OK - not great.  The only problem with this hotel is that my room was verrrry cold.  During the day I would open the window to try and get some warm air but I was not very successful.  The fire in the evening was great but it burnt out very quickly.  I either had to wear a coat or get into bed.  There were plenty of bed clothes and I slept well. 

The food was very good.  I don't know how much it cost because I was on a tour.  A glass of wine cost about $7.

Like others I took the waterfall tour with 70 year old Juan who is a character.  I didn't understand much but nonetheless the walk was great fun and the waterfall is impressive.  

The village needs to do some work to make it more of a tourist attraction - emulate El Fuerte.  It has the advantage of the charming little mission church which is better than El Fuerte. Set up some other little walks - like one to the white cross on the hill;  perhaps the hotel could bring in some musicians in the evening.
