We rolled in to Cerritos Beach with friends for a day’s surfing. You can’t help but be drawn to it / enchanting, beautiful, architectural details that are way too abundant to mention - O.K the Saltillo tile I need to mention / moving along - park yourself in any number of soaking pools perhaps salmon your way through what I’m certain are decorative rivers to the pool. It can be done - my buddy did it - I was driving. If your not blown away by the sunset and this rare special position it sublimely occupies then you can’t be helped.
Get there - chillax - sample the tequila - go surfing (ideal beginner waves and more) at this premier Pacific location and consider yourself fortunate

Turned into to quite the highlight. And we fricken loved it

I am writing this review because we recently dealt with a difficult situation at this hotel, but their team couldn't have handled it better. This hotel is temporarily closed but will hopefully re-open soon, and we cannot wait for that to happen, so we can visit again. It's a magnificent location; there is nothing like it in the Todos Santos / Cabo area. It's sitting on a magnificent hill right on a really fun, swimmable, surfers' beach. 

When the hotel encountered issues our contact Gayle contacted us right away to inform us of the situation, and we were promptly reimbursed with our deposit. She kept us in the loop the whole time, and showed a lot of compassion and understanding given a problematic situation that no one could have foreseen.  

Problems can happen at any hotel in the world, but at least here, we dealt with an honest, transparent team who did everything they could to accommodate us and find solutions for us. We appreciate you all and hope you re-open very soon! We'll be back!

Can't wait to come back!

This place has been shut down for months- and ruined our wedding. We worked with multiple different people over the last year who either got fired for stealing money or quit because of the bad management. The people that run this are horribly unprofessional and have a track record to prove it. These people are horrible, stay away.

DO NOT STAY HERE

This place is easy to spot, sitting out on the edge of the ocean on a hillside, but not easy to get to.  You have to go off on a couple dirt roads, but once you get there it is worth it.  This place is absolutely beautiful. It looks like an old restored spanish hacienda, but it is actually pretty new.  Beautifully appointed.  There is an outside bar where you can get a snack and cocktails, even if you aren't staying at the hotel (which we were not).  You cannot beat the views.  Rocky shoreline with waves crashing on them on one side, a long surf beach on the other, and straight out - clear ocean views - we spotted several whales while we sat and enjoyed.
I would love to try staying here sometime.

Beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere for an afternoon cocktail.

ugh. Beautiful buildings but just a false front to a disaster of a place. No maintenance since hurricane -  years ago. RIP OFF- total screwball owns and has exwife run - yucky Karma. Don't get married here or expect anything less than a nightmare.

This beautiful building dominates the entire Beach of Cerritos.
the architecture is beautiful. The outdoor deck and pool who are breathtaking in the views were beyond explanation. Truly an amazing spot

Breathtaking

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful spaces and decor... the view is magnificent over the Pacific Ocean. The pool furniture needs some maintenance but other than that very nice place to stay. The restaurant was very good, I tried the Garlic shrimps, very tasty and totopos with the best pico de Gallo I’ve ever tasted in the whole country, fine chopped onions, tomatoes and cilantro and just the right amount of spices ... the beer a little overpriced but no problem with the sun setting in front of you.

Visiting for the first time... lunch

Just an AWESOME place that's about 45 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas.  We had the pleasure of staying there on our first visit to Baja and try to stop in to the bar just for the views.  The bar is open to the public and Chaz is now running the kitchen as a restaurant.  Check out the bookshelf that opens up to reveal the stairs to the tower.  Right on Cerritos Beach so swimming ( and surfing) are safe.  Definitely worth stopping by!!

Magical Place

Went to have a glass of wine on the outdoor balcony just now with our 2 golden retrievers.  We were told it's Mexican law that the dogs weren't allowed.  She probably didn't think we'd question it since we are gringos.  What she didn't know is that we are full-time residents of Mexico and that is absolutely not the law. We've taken them to many places & never have had a problem.  Mexico is one of the most welcoming places for dog owners we've ever lived.  Then she said, "Well, the owners are from Oregon."  Like that makes any sense.  Other locals here have been told, "You can't afford to stay here," and they were originally from Palm Springs, CA!  Many other very warm & welcoming places to stay in this area.  We were warned about their rudeness, but thought we'd give them a try anyway.  Unless you want to spend triple & risk being condescended to, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Rude & lied to

Live part time in Cabo and part time in the states.... Took an easy beautiful drive up the coast to spend a day in Cerritos...... Did a day pass at the Hacienda, which is a lovely spot at the end of the public beach..... The staff was incredibly attentive and the food and drink were good. The scenery was absolutely incredible..... Cerritos remains a charming surf spot abd beach and likely what cabo was like 30 years ago..... If you are travelling in south Baja/cabo san lucas, I highly recommend at least a day trip up to Cerritos/Pescadero/Todos Santos area......
