Crowed, lots of noise after hours.
Handicap spots, not enforce by the hotel, any body can park with out problem, I was report but they say oh park any where.
The room assigned  this time was one of the worse spots, I think personally when we used a app. To make reservations like expedia etc. etc. They give the worse rooms

Hotel is not like before, looks like Covid affect the facility needs lots of renovations

I live in Ensenada part of the year, and I can see Punta Morro from my house and vice versa.  It's my staycation place and I am there a few times a year.  The owner constantly maintains and updates the property with the major pool and exterior renovations being the latest.  It's a small, boutique hotel that helps me avoid the noise of the other Ensenada hotels.

The restaurant, also just renovated, is consistently outstanding with great service.  The views from the restaurant are the best in town.  It's our go to place for desert and drinks.

For a quiet, romantic getaway I recommend staying at Punta Morro

My home away from home...literally!

We selected this resort because of the beach activities. We waited 3 hours to rent a jet ski for $100 USD per hour and was denied due to overbooking. It was very disappointing. We realized it is US prices but we’re excited anyway. It stinks because the rest of the resort was enjoyable, but Jose and the lack of jet ski ruined our vacation. I asked my son if he wanted to try again the next day, but my tween didn’t want to risk wasting anymore of our vacation. I think if they hired someone other than Jose, our vacation would have been enjoyable. Jose wasn’t helpful at all and ruined our day.

We did enjoy the pool and housekeeping staff. Hopefully they will fix the water sport staffing issues. We filed a complaint but not sure if it worked.

Wish water sports were handled better

People are very nice and efficient,  but starting with the bed sheets uncomfortable very very old, infested of moskitos in the room, and the bathroom very duty cause to old, check my pictures,  we paid about $216 for night  very expensive for what we get, the restaurant not really good u expect u are in Mexico the food must to be good and many options, was more America food and the prices for plate around $20, was ridiculous  never again.  ,check my pictures  to get a idea  .

Not recommended

Stayed 3 days, rooms were nice at pool view, but rooms were outdated , dirty and the floors were always damp. Food was OK but would not recommend. Nice for a day but not longer. Also lots of mosquito bites and dogs allowed help in some flea bites!! Bring toys repellent and insect killer

Estero Beach needs to improve

Estero beach resort has a lot going for it but a lot that do not. This is the breakdown from our experience this past month visit (we spent one night):
Plus:
-The rooms are ground floor and some face the pool, so if you are an extended family visiting you can all stay at adjacent rooms right off the pool
- Gorgeous setting with the pool that outlooks the beach.  Private little beach front is very easy to get to. This setting makes for beautiful sunsets. 

Cons:
- Rooms need a lot of upkeeping, especially the shower/bathroom
- one the queen bed was spelling like pee 
- The ping-pong table available was terrible condition, I would just take it off
- Drinks were just Ok
- Water sports are with American prices, why? 
- Far from the city, so you would have to do some driving to get to restaurants

We had a wonderful time but I was glad I only had to spend one night in that bedroom and stinky bed.

Not the best facility, but beautiful setting

1 small Margarita, the size of a classic Martini, from the bar and I was vomiting violently all night. Beware of what you eat or drink at Estero Beach.
Visiting with a few friends, men and women, and apparently the men were targeted.
Room started spinning and I made it back to the hotel room before the vomiting started. Horrible.

Poisoned by Alchohol in a Margarita

The drive to get to this place is not the nicest but upon entering the premises, we were pleasantly surprised to find how clean and well manicured were the lawns and gardens.  The staff is very friendly and the rooms, albeit a little outdated, were clean and comfortable. We had requested a garden view room but were upgraded to a ocean view  without any additional charge.  The view from our room was awesome!  The pool and spa is upgraded with nice pebble-tech finish.  Everyone was very friendly and attentive.  We highly recommend this hotel.  We will definitely be looking forward to staying here again.

Great value for the price!

Estero Beach has been a favorite destination of ours for many years. It is in the city of Ensenada, but by the time you get in, it's like you're on a private island somewhere. There is so much to see there and do. The rooms are all great. There's two floors, so it's easy to get in and out and access the marshes, the beach, the restaurant and the pools. They have trails that you can walk across the resort and just explore the wild life. I think my favorite part is that they are right at the entrance of the bay and you often see dolphins and seals just passing by. The restaurant is pretty good as well. We've eaten there a couple of times, and everything has been good. The pool is salt water, as most things down in Ensenada, but once you know, you're good. At nights, there is music sometimes. The environment is always delightful. Throughout our years there, everyone has always been in a great mood, and it's like a big family sharing a resort. Come check it out if you haven't. It's definitely a place you'd like to bring your family to.

Beautiful views all around

We were here for the first time, was going to stay only for one night. Once we got to the room we were so surprised to see the room and the view from our room and balcony rightaway I called the front desk to extend our stay for few more days they accommodated us without extra charge for the weekend. 
When we arrived at the front desk on the first day told the beautiful young lady that we didn’t have a reservation at first she told us the resort is sold out for next few days also the price she was quoting more than what I saw online. As we requested her to see if anything available at all, she checked again and found a room that was much more than what we were looking for she went out of her way to offer us that room for the online price we saw. 
We were amazed by the courtesy of every staff and the security of the beautiful huge resort. 
We will be back again and again to this property. 
Hope the management will keep up the best they are doing. 
Thank you for giving us a unforgettable mini vacation.
