The hotel is quaint and clean and quiet with a nice little restaurant in the Valle de Guadalupe. It is also close to the main road. The hotel is managed by great friendly people. I arrived late in the evening but my room and key and staff were very welcoming.

Clean & rustic place to stay in beautiful wine country

We arrived with no expectations, we thought for the price, the room woudn't be much, boy were we wrong! We arrived at night, they gave us the keys to our own cabaña,  five of us fit perfectly, it was well kept, sheets clean, the whole space was clean and spacious with a mini fridge. We had a wrap around terrace where we chit chatted with the wine we had bought. We ordered Italian food with delivery which the guy in reception was nice enough to call and order for us. The restaurant in the morning, next to our cabaña had great service, prices and dishes! The view was amazing, I highly recommend this place if ur on a budget and in the mood for a cabin.

To better explore the Baja Wine Country, we spent two nights at this rustic escape.  Wanting to spend our time and money on great wining and dining, we chose an easily affordable location.  My dog and I chose the cabin with fireplace and small fridge, while my friends each chose a regular room with balcony.  The prices were so good that we could all have private rooms on this birthday celebration week.  If, like me, you only need a nice place to park your "stuff" and sleep comfortably in a hotel, this one is just perfect.

Rustic Countryside Sojourn

This hotel is  great value if all you are looking for is a clean, quiet place to stay while in the wine country of the Valle de Guadalupe. We visited in late November so the pool was closed for the season. The restaurant was also closed, but I don't know if that was due to the season or if we just missed their hours because we were out exploring wine country all day.

Our room was a good size and felt roomy because the furnishings were not overwhelming.  The bed was comfortable and the attached bathroom had good water pressure and hot water in the shower. We had a small balcony overlooking the valley that was a peaceful place to sit in the early morning. 

They have a gym - a real gym with free weights and racks instead of machines. It reminded me of my old high school weight room. No nautilus machines and treadmills, but plenty of iron. Probably not the thing most tourists are looking for  but it hit the spot for me.

The only thing I would like to see changed would be the addition of a refrigerator and microwave to each room.  

Oh, and better signage! It was past dark when we first tried to find the hotel and drove past the "exit" several times before finding it. The exit is a n unlit dirt road at a curve in the main road that is nearly impossible to see unless you really know where to look. We had no problems after that first adventure, but a sign with a light would have helped quite a bit!

We will return!

Great value in the heart of wine country!

It is a small hotel located off the main road.
People are friendly and in general it is a very clean hotel.
The place is rustic; no luxury at all; but it has all you need.
For the price, it is one f the best values in the wine country area.
I recommend it if you are not expecting any luxuries; just a good night sleep at a clean and safe place.
