This is a budget hotel. Room is spartan and lock not secure. Walls are thin. 

Bathroom is adequate, but shower occupies same 4x4 foot space as toiled and sink.

10 minute walk to Teatro Juarez once you figure it out.

We stayed on New Years Eve (only hotel with availability) and it was fun to watch the municipal (and very local) fireworks from the top level.

We moved to nicer accommodations ASAP.  Our 8-year-old is a good traveler, but she sensed (correctly) this was not a great place for our family. It would have been adequate when I was 20 and backpacking!

Fair, spartan

The rooms are very basic.  We had to climb several flights of stairs with our suitcases as there is no elevator.  The place needs to be painted and fixed up.  It looks like it is falling to pieces.  They should take advantage of the beautiful view of the hill by making space available on the roof top to lounge on chairs.  The place has potential but they haven't put any money into it.  Wifi only worked part of the time. We paid approx. $60 Canadian per night which was way too much.
