Most people use cars to get around but it's possible to get here by taxi from central Guaymas. Los Jitos is a typical American-style motel and what it may lack in style, is made up in quantity---my room was huge (20 x 10 feet).  Clean and comfortable too although it could do with better sound proofing.  Downstairs they provide coffee and cakes in the morning but for anything more substantial, La Terraza over the road is a friendly little place.

Carless in San Carlos

I spent a couple of weeks here.  My husband spent a couple of months.  The location is perfect as it is close to everything.  They have a variety of room types; everything from a basic hotel room to suites with kitchens.  We had a room with a kitchen and the basic necessities were there to cook breakfast every morning.  The rooms are clean and some English is spoken.  There is a fabulous roof top "park" with 4 swimming pools, including water slides!  This would be a perfect place for a family.  The view from the roof is spectacular as well.

Very accommodating

Huge rooms, not a lot of furniture, great balconys, good wi-fi and walking distance to good food and the beach.  I think as an elderly gringo this place might be mayhem during Semana Santa.  The rooms are huge and furnitureless, like maybe families will pile in here for the holidays.  But in the off season, in our case mid November, it is great.  On the roof is a water park, three water slides and five pools.  No restaurant or bar but they are nearby and it is very inexpensive and clean.  The bathroom is tiny, shower only, no tub.  I prefer showers anyway.  If ever in the area again Los Jitos will be my choice.

A happy surprise

Lis Jitos is nothing special, but it is a fine place to sleep. My dive partner and I stayed here for three nights during a dive trip to San Carlos. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner was excellent, an important consideration for the summer months in San Carlos. Bathroom is small and sufficient. There was no refrigerator. There were no chairs in our room but we moved patio furniture from our patio and that worked fine. The patio is a fine place to hang dive gear to dry. Really, all in all, we got our monies worth and were comfortable.

Good Value For the Traveler That Needs A place To Sleep!

Los Jitos has the best location to stores, restaurants, Marina, Marina storage yard, etc. 
One Free Lg Water and coffee for coffee pot in your room are supplied. 
          This hotel is not insulated so noise Will be an issue, take ear plugs, plus !!

The rooms are a nice large size, shelves and night stands with more shelves, are handy.  Clean room and bathrooms with nice fluffy white towels !
Rooms with kitchenettes are available here, for a little more money . All rooms, I believe have little balconies with table and chairs. A nice swimming pool ( not heated) is on the upper roof. A little water park is being built now, next to the pool.

Best economy hotel !

Last minute trip to the beach. Had to stay Los Jitos, the rooms were clean and big.  There was a shelving unit which also doubled as a small closet. The handle to sliding which goes out to a patio broke. One of the bath towels had a hole in it. The toilet paper holder was also falling apart. The holder kept you from sitting on the toilet correctly because it would stab you in the back. There was a sewer smell in the room which would not go away.  There was a fight between a couple the first night there, which I was lucky to hear because of the flimsy room door. You could hear screaming and running up and down the hallway. On a positive note the kids enjoyed the small pool.
