I have stayed several times, the cleanliness is good in the room and outside, there are no bugs anywhere, it is quiet in the interior rooms, the mattresses and comfortable pillows, the kitchen with the necessary and basic, (refrigerator, cafeteria, etc.) in the room, Alberca small but clean has tables, chairs, umbrellas. As for the very attentive staff as well as the Administrator, my entry and exit were quick, it has a rooftop parking lot and is located in the Bay of Tangolunda 5 minutes drive from downtown and relatively close to other bays and beaches, of these the entrance was the one I liked the most many fish, ideal for Snorkel.

Holidays in Huatulco, in the Hotel Plaza Huatulco

This was my first time to Huatulco and it was great!  The staff was super knowledgeable about getting us a rental car, surfboards, local dining and drinks.  The beds were really comfortable.  They were so comfortable, my friends had to wake me up to get us going out the door.  We shared a beautiful two bedroom suite on the third floor with an amazing balcony and chill pool.  The main pool was great too.  It's a swim-up bar type of pool rather than a diving pool which really lends itself to the beach vibe of the town.
It was also a great central location to visit different beaches and towns within an hour or two.
TLDR: Price was right for lodging and food in the area, great staff, great room, great location.

Great and Friendly Beach/Surf Town

I just got back from 8 nights at Hotel Plaza Huatulco and loved every minute of the trip.  The hotel employees were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help answer questions or offer suggestions.  The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious and offered great WiFi and cold AC.  The onsite pool (with swim up pool bar) was the perfect place to lounge after a morning surf, and plenty of palm trees offered shade and a great place for a hammock.  There was a restaurant and convenience store onsite, and plenty of other shopping restaurants, beach stores, souvenirs, coffee shop)  within walking distance.  Surfing was the main reason for my visit and this location was great, with ample breaks within an hour and a half both north and south.  While many people come to Oaxaca for Puerto Escondido's famous wave, I enjoyed the waves down south a lot more with plenty of unnamed dirt roads giving way to empty point breaks.  There's a wave less than 10 minute away that worked every day, with a couple of casual seaside restaurants serving cold beer and fresh fish.  There is easy beach access just a short walk from the hotel, or if you have a car all of Huatulco's beautiful bays and beaches are just a 5-20 minute drive.

Great location, great hotel, great surfing!

Everything was great. The staff is super friendly, accomodating, and always available. The pool and Draco, mascot of Hotel Plaza Huatulco, put an exclamation mark on the whole experience. 
Also, for the surfers, the area is quite accessible with many different types of breaks from different beaches. You may hire a guide at the Hotel to show you around. Enjoy!

Draco's Castle

The scene of a small tree growing on the ceiling of a room says it all. A room with a rare, uncomfortable distribution. A very small elevator that didn't come down until the parking lot and was off for two days. Locality with clothing, handicrafts and pharmacy. It's in the area of luxury hotels, if you're looking for economy, it may be better suited to the Vintage there. It's better to stay at the crossroads. Away from the beaches, with a couple of restaurant options and that's all. The nearby beach called Tangolunda was a beach with no infrastructure (palaces, restaurants, etc.) to which there was to be a walk to the flooded areas and pesticides. In one place, they offer emergency lounges (sandwiches, juices) that go up to the square where the cruise loans are located.

Hotel Viejo, No tan tan economic, in the secluded zone.

This is an affordable, affordable place, with a pool, comfortable accommodations, close to the beach, ideal for a pleasant holiday, in the company of the family, nos toco estar in December, in good night, excellent stay, very recommended.

Ideal for vacationing

The hotel's location is accessible in a quiet 5-star area and is a few minutes from downtown, which makes it fun to get to know the area very well.

My family and I were very happy that it was a fun trip, and we will repeat it by God's grace this year 2017.

The worst place to stay, pictures are not what really this place is. Old mattresses, old furniture, not clean at all.Kitchenette is old and utensils from a thrifty store.The AC not functional and they advertise free cable and Wifi both are a joke couldn't connect or watch anything. The staff only one person that the only thing he tried was to collect more money after moving us three times because the other rooms were with a wet bed and the AC did not work.We move to another hotel not caring if we will risk to loose the advance payment for 9 days.

everything was fine, just the room doesn't look , likr the internet site  pictures, overall good experience  i did not like the pool too many mosquitos, but i will recomended to other travelers and friends.

The breakfast buffet is very rich and varied, congratulations, the spacious and clean rooms, the pool is clean and large, the area of comfortable beds and ceilings, perfect, very recommended. Very close to the beaches, the center and a craft area.
