I came to Selina to celebrate my birthday. On the first night, after our neighbor upstairs showered, there was water dropping from the sealing onto the pillow of my friend. Somehow we made it through the night and the next day I spoke to the manager and asked for a refund for this night. He said it will be processed and asked for my bank details. After one week I still had no refund so I sent him an email to ask for it. I got no answer. After I sent another email he answered that the refund will be processed (after 1,5 weeks). Today, after two weeks, I still didn't get any refund.
This kind of service is totally inappropriate and unprofessional. It seems like I as a customer have to run after my money although I had toilet water dropping onto my head from the ceiling. Definitely NOT a recommendation to stay here!

Amazing location. 
The staff is happy and kind. 
The rooms are comfortable and lovely. Highly recommend to stay here. You will feel calm and relaxed. 
Best thing? To have bfast at the garden and work during the day with your feet on the sand all day. 

Selina Isla Mujeres my new favorite location 

An incredible place with cabins on the 2nd floor of the sea fascinating...cleaning..good breakfasts, incredible fun activities and palm trees, the service of Angel Cruz in the restaurant was incredibly super kind and patient..the exquisite red chilaquiles together with a good cafe.

A dream place that invites you to stay.

The staff is super apathetic and leaves much to be desired for a comparison of the good service in Mexico. No, I recommend it, I was very pleased with the experience until the end that their poor service left me with a bad taste of the place.

Bad service is needed.

It is one of the hotels in Isla Mujeres that have a nice beach, a friendly pool and have shared or private rooms at a good price. The breakfast has an extra cost but is delicious, varied. It has a coworking for work that you will have to set aside before your arrival or you will not be able to use it. You will meet people from all over the world, so you will not miss friends on your arrival. Well located with Playa Norte and with easy access to all parts of the Island. Ideal for backpackers, yes bookings with time get an incredible rate.

A very nice hotel with a pool of 2 levels of depth and loved ones, in front of the swimming pool a delicious restaurant with the Mister Estrella called ANGEL, very attentive and friendly and lots of cooks do the delicious things those hotcakes fascinated me, I don't want to leave here ever.

Selina is the best hostel I have ever been. I stayed there for 6 month and I will come back very soon. The atmosphere there is so familial. I felt really home, because the staff and the guests are very friendly and always smiling. That`s so important and special during the pandemic.
I appreciated the daily yoga in the morning. The best of all was the kitchen, because there I could cook and share the food with my  friends.  The beds are very comfortable with new  matresses, pillows, big blankets and a curtain, where I had my privacy. The swimmingpool with the big pillows and the hammocks around is a beautiful place for relaxing.  On the weekend the parties are great for dancing and fun. The beaches are gorgeous and the water amazing.
One wish to the guests to help the cleaners and the people who want to cook.  Please do your dishes !!! It was often a mess in the kitchen with dirty dishes. Thanks for the respect.
I am very happy to find this paradise. Thank you very much for all the staff. They do a great job.

I love the attitude of the staff, always ready to provide you with a good service, the infrastructure is incredible and definitely back.

I don't think I can say this strongly enough, but do not stay here. I was severely disappointed by the internet given the "Co-Working" space. I had to fight with them to even try and get a desk in the coworking space. The music is loud ALL THE TIME. I had to end up checking out early and requesting a refund. It is now 10 weeks since I've checked out and still no refund which is equal to about $100 USD.
