Our first trip to La Paz was made so special by our hostess and new friend, Carol Dyer.  The location was perfection - steps away from the Malecon and some of the best fish tacos in town!  Every morning breakfast was amazing with breakfast dishes that delighted us and Carols company, guidance and recommendations made our trip more special than we expected.  Christina took such good care of our room and needs as well - Gracias!  During our final few days with Carol she shared we were to be her final B&B guests and she is beginning a new chapter in life with travel, adventure and family at the heart of it all.  When we return to La Paz - we can't wait to visit Carol again and hear of all her exciting travels!!  Thank you for your gracious hospitality and friendship!!!

Perfect

Right next to Malecon with all it's activities, ships and boats and tourists there exists an unexpected and quiet hide-away called Casa Tuscany Inn. Delightful nooks and crannies with lots of flowers and resident birds where you can read, relax and enjoy the surroundings. Our gracious hostess is unbeatable in her way to make you feel welcome and at ease. 

Winter retreat

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Tuscany Inn. Carol Dyer the owner was a real sweet heart of a hostess. The breakfasts were excellent, the place was homey with a common court yard garden area that was also the dinning area. Many different levels and nooks and crannies to curl up with a  good book or do some meditating or Yoga.Tuscany Inn was very well situated close to shopping the water and the Malecon. Absolutely loved this place. It was such a surprise to find this hidden gem behind its non assuming gates.

Lovely, relaxing, Quaint Bed and Breakfast!

Stayed in the Lucca room for 3 nights in April 2018. Really was a perfect spot for our trip - comforable and convenient within La Paz. Carol was extremely helpful and accomodating before and during our stay. She really makes an effort to make sure you get the full experience you want, and serves good breakfasts at convenient times. Worth noting that the noise level can be high at night (from the people partying on the Malecon) and in the morning (from the friendly neighborhood songbirds). Use the earplugs, and you won't regret your choice.

One of our best choices...

If you like to feel privileged and off the beaten path this place is for you. If you are looking for modern comfort it’s not. 
We had a great time in this charming B&B and Carol was the best host ever. She is kind, welcoming, and willing to help you have a good time in La Paz which she knows very well. 
She also prepares amazing breakfast, which tastes even better because you are having it in the shaded patio with birds singing around and a cool breeze. Lovely place to stay. We’ll miss you Carol!

Perfect place to stay in La Paz 

Everything very well, the place and the attention, the very comfortable rooms and with Mexican style, near the malecon, restaurants and interesting places, I highly recommend it.

A wonderful place.

This B&B is an intimate and spacious house with four rooms. It has a bright central courtyard, very pleasant and full of plants where Carol, the owner, serves some wonderful breakfasts for the guests: complete, elaborate and very rich; not what we expected. Carol is an excellent hostess, is on the lookout for everything without being intrusive and has some very good recommendations for tourist sites and restaurants. The location of the house is excellent: it is located in a very quiet and quiet street in the city center, a few blocks from the mall. The rooms (including the smallest) are very comfortable, impeccable and have everything we need.

You have everything.

Close and accessible to shops, the malecon, restaurants, personal care of the owner, breakfast, WiFi, total rest in a very comfortable bed, especially after a long trip. Definitely a beautiful place to return.

 Total tranquility

I traveled to Casa Tuscany this summer with my daughter and found this beautiful place on the web!!! It is a house that deserves to be visited again, the host, Carol, is an excellent person and gives us a treat that made us feel at home... If you want to visit La Paz, I recommend you visit Casa Tuscany.

This is an excellent location!!!

It's a very nice, bright place, with a very cheerful patio and with freedom to move around the spaces and rest in the garden when you arrive from outside.Carol, the owner is very friendly and welcoming.Y recommends very successful restaurants.Y doesn't interfere in the lives of others.It has a huge and peaceful kitchen as well as the visits of hummingbirds to which it feeds with honey syrup.From the location of the room we extend one more day.Very recommended.The only one is the cafe: very loose and tasteless. And that there's no place to leave the suitcases (if you carry more than one) and not to stumble through the room.
