A very dirty hotel, poor facilities, cockroaches and it's too expensive to look after and get dirty. The beach is very close but it's very dirty, the receptionists are very rude and don't solve the billing issues. They do bad bills and don't offer a solution to change them. They don't contest phones and don't allow you to talk to the manager.

The worst service ever.

Please do NOT even think about staying here, if you want something cheap and dirty this is the place for you. There was no water, AC went off all night, towels were stained, everything was just dirty and the bathrooms were just disgusting...

AWEFUL!

Some 20 years ago, by chance circumstances, I had the opportunity to stay in this place, which at the time seemed pleasant to me for its cleanliness and good operation of its services, in addition to its excellent location in the heart of the golden zone, yet of that place only remains the memory and good location because it is currently in poor condition and the passing of the years it is noted to everyone as it is seen that it has not undergone any renovation.Old furniture that does not invite to use, mattresses in poor condition, poor air conditioning, the attention of a single person who is in a bad condition and todology essence, unopened and unsecured doors, cleanliness that does not exist, at all absolutely wrong.

What would never be recommended?

Excellent location, the suite is perfect for traveling with family as it is 2 separate and private rooms, with living room, dining room and kitchen with its cooling stove etc... it is in a location near everything, restaurants, beach a 1 minute walk without exaggeration, enchant me a very practical hotel.

Very practical and excellent teaching!

Good hotel, rooms clean, we stayed on the fourth floor and there was no elevator making getting to the room tuff after a night on the town. Very well located near to shops, many restaurants and good access to the transit system. It was more expensive than advertised on booking.com

A place close to the party

If you are looking for quality, clean lodging nearly right on the beach in Mazatlan, MX, La Costa Suite will fit the bill.  Upon arrival, the front desk person was personable and friendly.  The room was huge and very clean. AC worked well, which was nice in the Mazatlan heat and humidity!

There is parking on site, and the hotel provided security during the wee hours for it's parking lot and building.

Basic lodging that was comfortable and clean for about $35US per night.  What's not to love about that?

Two Blocks from the Beach

I stayed for 3 nights on the holy days from Thursday 28th March until Sunday 31st, the service was top notch even though the hotel was full of staff and we had the best of care, when we ordered extra towels or toilet paper whenever we could at first opportunity, the room was very spacious, we had a Junior room with a king size bed and kitchenette, although the view of the sea and the beach was only a few meters from the hotel from the rear, it had excellent views of the street through the window, generally recommending it to the maximum, do not hesitate to return when returning to Mazatlan.
