We had an enjoyable experience at Casa Xola. We booked three rooms - two on the second floor and one on the first floor.  The hosts are welcoming, flexible, and well informed about local activities.  The rooms are comfortable and pleasant.  We appreciated the breakfasts.  Wi-fi is better in some rooms than in others, but generally very good.  There are pets (cat and dog) and that was nice for us. 

Nice place to stay.

I stayed in this beautiful little hotel with my husband and 4 friends. This hotel has 5 beautiful rooms with extremely comfortable beds, a gorgeous dining room and welcoming common areas. They provide a simple, but delicious breakfast every morning. Arleigh, Sandy and Gloria treat you like you’re part of the family from the minute you walk in til the minute you check out. This hotel is walking distance from Centro Histórico and many historical buildings. Arleigh will assist you with your transportation needs. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

A quaint and peaceful bed and breakfast

Beautiful views, central location wonderful service delicious breakfast. 
We stayed in one of the patio rooms on the main level across from the dining room. The room was large and comfortable with a ceiling fan that kept us cool. The water pressure in the shower 🚿 is fantastic! We enjoyed evenings on the upper level listening to the bells of the cathedral and the cool breeze as well as all the wonderful plants that make it feel like a secluded park.  Would highly recommend a stay here at Casa Xola (just be sure you don’t mind stairs)

Comfort, Location, food and beauty Casa Xola has it all!

We stayed at Casa Xola for a full week during our first trip to Morelia.  Our stay enhanced our experience and it was such a great spot to return to each day after being out on adventures around Morelia.  We stayed in the Terrace Room which is right off a shared roof top patio space and shared open air living room and kitchen space.  Our room also had it’s own private patio space which we used on occasion as well, but the shared space on the roof top has a beautiful view over the neighboring roof tops and out to the mountains in the back ground that is wonderful.  Lots of flowers and hummingbirds not to mention a cat now and then or a short visit from Maki her sweet small dog.  The whole space that Arleigh has created is relaxing and beautiful.  She gave us some great recommendations, and we had enjoyable conversations at the breakfast she graciously provided each day.  I highly recommend Casa Xola if you are looking for something unique and special for your stay in Morelia.  We will be back!

A wonderful week in Morelia

Arleigh is a great host, friendly and very helpful. She offers an elaborate breakfast. Excellent location just a couple of blocks from the cathedral, clean rooms and beautiful decor. The upstairs rooms (3,4,5) get much more natural light than 1, 2. Now it's no fault of the host, but the dog next door does bark quite a bit and if you are a light sleeper that will keep you up at night. This is the one issue that gives me pause about recommending Casa Xola.

Great place and host with one notable flaw

We were at Casa Xola for three nights in room number 3.  The location was wonderful and we really enjoyed the outdoor seating area.  Thanks so much to Beth for so many great recommendations on restaurants and getting around. The trip would not have been the same without you there!

Excellent stay at Casa Xola

I had a new room on the roof. It was wonderfully appointed and designed,very spacious,clean, and nice light! The shower was huge with nice water pressure. Arleigh prepared a huge breakfast each morning,with fresh fruits,yogurt,great coffee,juices,eggs,cereals etc. She has created an amazing and beautiful place with her style and warmth. She arranged a butterfly tour for me with two other guests,which was why I was in Morelia. It couldn’t have been any better. 
    I was at Xola for 4 nights. It is a brief little walk to she Zocalo in a safe neighborhood. My room was quiet,and I enjoyed seeing the city lights from my rooftop haven. There are so many lovely aspects to Xola. I highly recommend staying here. Arleigh  the owner has created a very special place! It adds to the magic of Mexico!

Perfect

My husband and I along with another couple were in Morelia during the Independence Day celebration which made Casa Xola the ideal location.  It is only blocks to the cathedral and the government buildings. The rooms were clean and well decorated.  We were in Xola 3 with a comfortable king bed.   Arleigh was a wonderful host and provided delicious breakfasts each morning.  You can't go wrong staying here.

Wonderful B&B with a charming host.

We stayed 3 nights in room 3.  Very comfortable bed, nice linens, and small but good bathroom with good hot water and plenty of it.  It has an excellent rooftop patio with small kitchenette for your own use, nice seating, flowers, fire place and nice city views.  
If you have cat allergies, there are several cats here.  Room 3 was really good. 
Great breakfast and Arleigh was very gracious and helpful.  I had an eye infection and she put me in touch with an eye doc, and also helped our group with transportation to artist villages etc.  Morelia has a lot to see.  

Casa xola (show la) is great

This comfortable home is lovely; each room is decorated artistically with touches of the local crafts. All in wonderful taste with everything one would need. The mattresses and sheets were great!
Arleigh is a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to help me out after I was sick; moving me a more easily reachable room, did a load of laundry for me and even fixed me something to eat, at a time when it is not included. She was most helpful in her suggestions about the area.
I will definitely return to enjoy again!

Morelia is a fascinating and beautiful city and Casa Xola is very conveniently located.
