An overnight accommodation, central location and close to the bus station, excellent staffing and affordable prices, suitable facilities and facilities for additional services.

Good location

It's a simple hotel, with a very good location (just a few blocks from the ADO terminal), but very noisy. I had an ant attack in the room!!. There is no elevator (important for people who have difficulty with the stairs) and there is no one to help you with your luggage. Although the rooms have the basics, they are very enclosed. Nor does it have a restaurant, so it's just for sleeping.

Only for emergencies.

It's great for a night out. The room is small but comfortable. Adequate WiFi signal intensity. It has parking. Over the avenue 6 blocks from downtown. Lack of lighting in the room. Affordable service.

A small child.

Good location, good facilities but the receptionist's bad attitude of the morning shift was very rude, plus the day we checked out we left my cousin's bag at the hotel and when we got back they had already cleaned up but my cousin's bag was unlocked and there was no debit card, we asked the receptionist what to check so she couldn't have missed, she just ignored us and kept doing her stuff, we had to report the card being stolen... the truth was very badly treated and very bad guys.

Bad attitude 

It's a clean hotel, the people who work there are very friendly. Because it's a very small hotel, it's ideal for those who are strolling around Oaxaca all day long. It's conveniently located, six blocks from downtown Oaxaca. It doesn't have a restaurant, but there's an Oxxo and a Pitiko next to it; nor does it have a pool, if it has a parking lot.

An option for sleeping alone.

Comfortable hotel for those who have to stay near the bus station, otherwise 15' walk from the center, with a walking tour, friendly staff, very comfortable bed, Wi-Fi in the room, unfortunately no bathroom window and some hint of mold on the shower tent.

It's a good hotel.

Two friend and myself stayed here for four nights during the day of the dead festival. It was a great price and located about a ten minute walk from the main festival area and center square. It was nice to be away from the festival but still close. None of us spoke much Spanish and the staff doesn't speak much English, but they are very friendly and patient so it all worked out. The rooms are nice, wifi fast and a nice fan that keeps the room very cool. It is located on the main highway so if noise is an issue, the road is a bit loud. Beds are hard. Located right next to a small super market and convenient store which was great. If I was traveling to oaxaca again Id look at other places but wouldn't be opposed to staying here again. Very nice stay and very well priced 

Great place for our trip

we stayed at Hotel Calenda for 8 nights over El Dia de Los Muertos and we really enjoyed our stay.  The staff were amazing. Friendly and so, so helpful! The room (on the 3rd floor and no lift) was a good size and we had a little balcony which was nice.  The noise from the main road wasn't an issue.  The bathroom was a little small but it was fine the the shower pressure was actually excellent. Wifi connection was great as well.  The only thing missing is the option to have breakfast here (no restaurant) but there are plenty of options just a short walk away.
