All right, good enough for its price, although a little hidden in the place, its style is different but interesting, with parking and good care, I would suggest putting a sign to get there faster, but outside of that I repeat, everything is fine:]

This place is expensive, dirty, old. And not pet friendly (in the description it stated pet friendly)
So if you love yourself stay away.  Later dont come back and say it is not true. BTW this picture was taken in somewhere else, or was ages ago. Today the "garden" is full of junk and an unfinished building. Dont trust me? good luck!

For your own sake stay away

What a horrible place! The photos, a fake one, the 1970s beds, towels, the best sack I had for my dog. That by the way they don't accept pets. Error of the person who fills the tripadvisor. And the price of a robbery! What a horrible place. Sorry tripasdvisor this one is wrong. And no pets accepted.

Stay away from me, no se acerquen!

Very careless, everything under construction. Drawer and debris in every corner. The extinguishers were so dirty that it was impossible to turn off the lights. The AIre sounded like a trailer. For what it should cost $200. Zero attention from the staff. We had to open and close the parking door. Super difficult to get to the center and walk or think about it.

Pocilga is a small town.

We stayed only one night, as the reason for visiting Papantla is the archaeological area of the Tajin, which is very close to it. It is a small 2-star hotel, managed by its owner, who is a friendly person, the hotel is located about 6 or 7 streets from the center of Papantla, the rooms are small but comfortable, very clean, have air conditioning, TV, the hotel has parking. Aspects to improve to be excellent: Bringing courtesy water into the room, improving the wi-fi signal, the mattresses are a little hard and old.In summary, the service is very good according to what is paid.

Good hostel, very good care.

This small hotel very close to the center of Papantla is an excellent option to use as a base to explore the area of Papantla-El Tajín. Recently renovated, everything works well and the service of the owners is excellent given their knowledge of the area. Don Gustavo Moncayo, 87, father of the owner, is a friend of the master Teodoro Cano and told us very interesting stories about Papantla from the middle of the 20th century. Finally, you can sleep wonderfully given the quietness of the place and the comfort of the beds.

Excellent and comfortable hotel to explore Papantla.

We stayed one night in the Hostal de Moncayo. It is a short (5 minute) walk from the zócalo and thus close to everything you need, but quiet at night. Rooms have a nice view out over the town and are clean and comfortable: while a bit basic they have everything you need. What really impressed me was the attitude of the owner, Gustavo, who was helpful and went out of his way to assist us when we left behind some papers in our room, ensuring that we got them back safe and sound.
If there is nobody about when you arrive, try next door to the right. There is parking on site.
