What was good

Great hotel with an excellent location right on the beach, perfect for those looking to explore off the beaten path or conveniently walk a few blocks to Walmart. When booking online from the service I used, it was advertised as a hotel fee per night, not per person. However, upon arrival, there seemed to be some confusion as it was actually per person. Fortunately, they honored the original price, and we had an amazing time. The room was fantastic. Just a heads up, in Cancun and PDC, there's a practice of not flushing toilet paper, which was a bit of an adjustment for us. Just like the pictures on the website. It was clean

    We stayed at the Carmen to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was my first time to Cancun and Playa del Carmen however my wife had been to the region staying in all inclusive resorts seven times prior. We choose The Carmen because of it’s location, style and amenities.
