We loved our time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were well kept, and we felt at home. We loved the Terra cotta decor and the open spaces. We definitely recommend staying here, and we’ll stay the next time we’re here!

A beautiful spot to relax in

We stopped here early into a long road trip from Puerto Angel, Oax. to the U.S. at Nogales, AZ. Hotel Paraiso was a complete surprise, so quaint, with authentic Mexican architecture. Guillermo was a perfect host. The pool was refreshing, the room was clean and comfortable and restaurants were in walking distance.

A Pleasant Surprise

Hotel Paraiso Escondido is a very nice place, with kind staff and the manager and is super cool and helpful. My parents were in a suite with a huge balcony where we often sat gazing at the beautiful view we had from there. It is located quite near the beach and there are shops just one minute away if you need water or food. The pool is big and the architecture of the hotel is charming. It would've been nice to have a mini fridge to store water and drinks in but no big problem at all, with the stores so close by.  The aircondition is sublime, very low noise and get's the room perfectly cool. It is cleaned daily and the cleaning ladies are very thorough and do a good job. The whole place is a bit old but it's pretty, clean and has good vibes. If you're going to Puerto Escondido - this is a nice place to stay.

Lovely place, charming and very clean.

Unfortunately our rooms were opened by staff when we had said no to room service. Our personal stuff was looked through and money was stolen. And yes we are very sure of it. It’s unfortunate to have to experience such thing because of how great the reviews were. The Manager said she would speak to her staff that came in but nothing else was done.

Theft

Our family of five stayed at the villa for a week. Anita and her staff were incredible, very sweet and attentive to all of our needs. The hotel is a bit older but has so much charm, think like the house from Encanto. We constantly had cold ac pumping into our rooms which felt amazing after a day playing at the beach. The showers it does heat up it takes a few minutes though. We loved seeing the iguanas, geckos, squirrels and two cute cats that our kids named. An amazing tacqueria just steps away too. We will be back next year.

Best family vacation

Great place to stay in Puerto Escondido!! The staff here is great, Federico will make you a great breakfast and Cecilia and Guillermo are excellent hosts. They will make sure you have a great time! The hotel is very nicely located between the important beaches. It is only a short walk anywhere in the town. The hotel itself has A/C and a beautiful pool if you don't feel like going anywhere. The views are also incredible from the top floor suites! Highly recommend! Muchas gracias!!

Week long stay in Puerto Escondido

I love this hotel.  Not new, not fancy, but clean, well maintained, and full of charming, whimsical details. Family run. Sergio and his daughter Francesca are splendid hosts who speak excellent English, if you need it. A/C, TV, lovely pool in an equally lovely garden. Ok WiFi (great Wifi does not exist on the Oaxaca coast. Discount for cash. Easy walk to the Adoquín and the beach. Restaurant/bar was temporarily closed during my stay but will reopen soon.  All very old fashioned and very Mexican, and quite affordable.  Highest recommendation!

Perfecto!

The people that work at the hotel are super nice plus very responsive to giving the best service to offer I’m very happy with them and I’d love to stay again with them. The rooms are always in great conditions and the workers are  always there in case anything is needed. Plus the location is very good and the vew to the bay is amazing.

Amazing hotel great prices great amenities and very good service

We supposed to stay just for one night but since the place was so nice and comfy we stayed another night! The hotel has such a nice Mexican style and the take care of every single detail. The staff is so friendly and helpful including the owner and the location is perfect close to everything. Definitely recommended!
