Visited March 2020 & February 2022

As of writing this review, I’ve stayed in one of these condos twice, and I’ve absolutely loved it each time. The condo I stayed in is actually owned by a family friend (according to my parents haha) so mine may be a bit of a special circumstance. That being said, the condo was literally spotless, it smelled amazing (that fresh hotel smell but even better somehow), and the view of the ocean was beautiful. All the staff we talked to were super friendly, the pool was great, and even the architecture of the building itself was pretty enough that we took dozens of pictures.My only complaint was that the elevators were a bit sketch, but we were lucky enough to only be on the third floor so we just took the stairs the whole time. I really recommend!!

The nicest place I’ve ever stayed !

Princesa is a lovely resort on the beach. Princesa is “low key” and family oriented. There are 3 pools, a clubhouse, a jacuzzi and a wonderful Cantina. The staff is friendly. The apartments are large and clean and the grounds are lovely and well maintained

Great place on the beach

I really liked the layout of our top floor condo. We had three teenagers and having an upstairs master with private balcony overlooking the pool was perfect. A small gym with a few machines and no weights but still, a gym.

Nice condo's, easily accessible and quiet. You need a car.

We have just finished a 5 day 4 night stay @ the Princesa and it was just wonderful . We rented privately a condo for three couples , two children. it was a three bedroom, two floors, two bathrooms, and two balconys, livingroom , kitchen and was so perfect. Beautfully funished and decorated, and might add reasonable. 
Very hard to come up with a negative, unless we complain about a remote control fan not working because we didn't  have a 9 volt battery for the remote........but that slight problem was soon remedied..   4 Large screen tv's.  Wifi in condo excellent.
Loved the bar resturant on site, again reasonable very. 
Access to all pools, beach, is so conveniet. Wading areas in pools for kids.....And closest to room just wonderful. The view from our balcony's of pools and ocean was to die for!!!
This was our second stay here, and 6th for another of the couples, and they all have nothing but good things to say about the Princesa de Penasco!!

AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS IT GETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found this unit on vrbo and the owner was so easy to deal with! Lots of room and nice furniture, renovated bathrooms, TV's in the living room and both bedrooms, large balcony overlooking the beautiful pool areas and beach, extremely well-kept complex, very reasonable price and a little restaurant-bar, Colin's, about 100 steps away. I will never stay anywhere else in Rocky Point!

Unit E302, I wouldn't stay anywhere else

This is the only resort that I go to on Sandy Beach . The grounds are beautifully maintained and unlike some of the other resorts, Princesa has lots of greenery . It’s right on the beach with all condos facing the beach. Collins Cantina is on site serving a nice assortment of dishes Three pools, sauna and an exercise room...PERFECT VACATION SPOT!

Love this resort!

This complex is NOT a Hotel. We rented a condo unit from a private owner for a few days. The condo was excellant and the entire complex was immaculate. Clean, great ocean views and choices of numerous swimming pools. A nice Cantina with many choices. Security on the grounds were present and were courteous and polite as was everyone we encountered. We would love to return!

Wonderfully kept grounds - beatiful place

Maintenance and construction going on at this hotel. Limited parking and lots of noise. Only one pool open. 
The unit we got from vrbo was in building A and on top floor. Very nice and clean 2 bedroom place. Building closest to the beach. Keep your patio door closed at night, because these big black beetles wonder in within seconds. 
We normally come to Rocky Point in October, because the first week in March is really cold. However we took a risk and it was cold and windy. 

Spring break

We rented our condo through VBRO.  The unit we were in was OK, but you can definitely tell it is a rental.  I don't think we would stay in this particular unit again.  However, you can see that the grounds are nicely maintained.  While we we there, new paver walkways were being laid, and one of the three pools was undergoing renovation.

The beach is very nice.  Found a great selection of shells.

Princesa de Penasco

E-102 has a beautiful view but the plumbing was in terrible shape. The toilet seat fell off when I first sat on it, and I only weigh about 120 pounds. As of day 2 I still don’t have a toilet seat. 
Then I took a shower in the master bath and I could not get hot water. Don’t stay in this unit.
