This is a great little gem - location is within walking distance to the boardwalk and many restaurants and pubs.  It was our first time in Peurto Penasco and our hosts Danny and Dora couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful in providing us with directions and information about the area.  The rooms were very clean with very comfortable beds and pillows - couldn’t  have asked for better!  A very tasty freshly made breakfast was included in our rate - excellent value for the dollar!  We will definitely return to this location if we are in the area again and would recommend it to others


HIdden Gem! 

They advertise WIFI but it is NOT available in any room! You can't even connect unless you go to the office, and who wants to sit in bed streaming Netflix etc in a hotel lobby?? Otherwise, a nice hotel, very clean rooms, as much breakfast as you can eat (though no fruit, which is really out of the ordinary in Mexico!)

NO WIFI, otherwise nice place

My wife and I stayed for three nights in April 2022.  Was received warmly by Lupita, and were able to check in a bit early.  Great location for seeing Puerto Viejo neighborhood.  Close to Malecón, good restaurants.  Room spacious, very clean.  Highly recommended for price, location.  Nice breakfast cooked to order by Juan.

Great Find

This place is simple, close to many sights, clean and the staff are excellent. Dra will check you in and make sure you have everything. The breakfast is cooked to order off a short menu but should satisfy most people.  If were to return will would definatly stay here again.  

Simple and homey

Perfect location, easy walking distance to lots of restaurants the water and the malacon. Hotel and grounds are super clean and well kept. Room was very nice for the price with large and comfortable beds, a well appointed bathroom and a fresh sea breeze view. The staff was friendly and helpful to a person. Our maid was the best, even supplying us an excellent local map. Breakfast was a freshly made egg dish of our choosing along with toast, homemade tortillas and sides. The chef was excellent and his pleasant demeanor is just the thing to get your morning off to a good start.
Hospedaje Mulege is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the unique place that is Puerto Penasco. 

Nice Place Nice Location Good Value 

We stayed here on a quick trip to Puerto Penasco. Great place on the quiet side of the hill. Super clean, fantastic cooked to order breakfast, and secured parking. We walked to everything except Pollo Lucas. Super friendly. I’d stay there again for sure.

Gem in Puerto Penasco

My family and I were welcomed by our wonderful hosts, and included in their Christmas traditions.  The location, room, breakfast and staff are exceptional. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful.  We are planning another trip back in June!

Christmas holiday 

A most enjoyable first time in Punto Penasco. The Hospedaje Mulege was the right place. A really good location.  Walking distance to the Malecon where you'll find great sea food, music, good drinks, and souvenir shops. The hotel is comfortable and well
 maintained. The owners and staff are top notch.
 Breakfast a joy every morning. You will enjoy your stay at the Hospedaje Mulege.

This is The Place 

We enjoyed staying in this quaint, little motel.  Very kind, helpful, friendly staff.  Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds.  Continental breakfast in an adorable little kitchen. I would have liked extra deadbolt or chain on door.  There is no shampoo or conditioner so be sure to bring some.  We would return to stay here again.  

Very clean, walking distance to the Malecon

This is a great small family owned inn in Old Town of Puerto Senasco. It's close to the malecon and that scene. However, it was surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure good. I recommend rooms 2-4 which are topmost and have a great view of the sea and sunset. Room 1 is adjacent yet isolated with a common roof deck above. Breakfast is of the continental variety.
