The best experience. Location is excellent but even better is the service .. butlers, chef, attendants, room service .. all excellent .. highly recommend a visit . Bucket list checked our butler Fernando,  William,  attendant  ezmeralda,  waiters and bartenders 

Palafitos

We had the most amazing 9 night stay in the new 2 bedroom villa at the Palafitos. The room(s), kitchen, and common space are wonderful. Then there is the outside deck, plunge pool, and ocean access platform. They really thought of everything. The property and resort is beautiful, small, and intimate. What makes the resort a stand out is the hard working staff. They are so friendly, engaging, and there to make you have a wonderful vacation. Because you engage with so many of the staff, more then just a hello, you get to know them. The people that truly stood out: Fernanda & Liz our butlers, the Chief of the Village Miguel, the bartenders who made sure we never went without Rene, Josue, Salome, Felipe, Batsabe, and Karen. The wait staff: Jamie, Fernando, Ezekiel, Burtin, Leo, Lucy, and Enrique. Chef Mario is amazing. Housekeeping: Sandy & Bertha, Turndown: Elizabeth. Adrian fitness/activities person. Our spa services were with Whilmer and Bety. The bellman Sergio is so kind and friendly. I really could go on and on about the people.

Amazing 2 Bedroom Villa

If you want to be in full relaxation and look at a beautiful beach all day, this is your spot. 
We booked our trip through Judy and Maria’s travel, and we couldn’t be happier. 
Our bungalow was in immaculate condition, having your own butlers to ensure everything you need each day adds to this experience. From your own pool, own sundeck and entrance to the water is something out of a movie. 
You know you are going to experience the best vacation of your life when you are checking in and you get to choose specific pillows, scents for your bed, and scents for your bungalow. Everything here is truly memorable. 
The overwater grill has a tremendous menu, and the chefs there really can cook. It was phenomenal food. Enrique our server each night was great. 
Liz and Fernanda were our butlers, and they both ensured everything was taken care of for us at all times. You won’t want to leave your bungalow. 
We already can’t wait to come back. 

Ultimate VIP Treatment and Experience

This place was great the first 2 days. But, then the butler suggested to my daughter that she should “sneak out” that night to go see the band playing at the other resort. WHO DOES THAT?! Needless to say, my trip was ruined at that point. I’m not even gonna elaborate on the green mold in the jaccuzzi!!

Offended, to say the least!!

My husband and I stayed at the Palafitos Overwater Bungalows July 2023 and had a lovely time we rate it a 5 star resort for couples, our butlers Mauricio and William were excellent they took care of our every want and need even things we did not think of they provided good suggestions 
the villa was nice with two showers, the glass bottom floors was awesome 
the outside with your own personal pool and two level decks to eat/sit and other to catch some sun was so nice they also had stairs from the deck for you to walk in the water
we had afternoon snack with drinks salsa, chips and calamari that was Good
The restaurant is upscaled with Delicious Food the lamp chops were very good 
It was my husband birthday and I ordered a birthday cake we ate after dinner and they sung Happy Birthday, our butlers surprise my husband with birthday balloons in the room when we arrived back from dinner a Nice Touch  we also did a cooking class on the beach that was fun and we also did the cocktail class that was fun tool We went to see Magic Mike the entertainment for the evening that was fun as was also the Mexican Party was fun too  we talked and laughed with Clemente who makes the best drinks
Again a nice resort, Pricey but nice 

Palafitos A Great Couples Resort

We were there to celebrate our anniversary and the staff was amazing. The butler service made sure you have everything you need and any additional comfort that they can provide. Janet, Alain and Fernada were all wonderful and extra nice. We also had a private yoga experience on our deck, led by Fabiola who is a seasoned and experienced instructor.

Excellent experience Chris is a fabulous entertaner along with all the others brilliant service , the restaurants are all excellent,  we enjoyed the foam party, the beach service is a little slow sometimes but overall okay, would definitely recommend and come again 

Vacation

What an amazing experience! Beautiful location. Beautiful bungalows and rooms. Amazing staff and great food. One week was not long enough - we will definitely be going again. If you are looking for a very special getaway for any special reason , THIS IS IT !  The only issue I had was loud drunk people in the bungalow next to us that never grew up like Peter Pan …. Other than that it was perfect!

Shout out to Chris, Haza, Omar and Octavio on entertainment committee. Israel and Manuel awesome butlers !! Jesus at Lima Limon.  Claudia was a great concierge helping us with our vow renewal!  Augustine is a staple that is so friendly.

Celebrated our anniversary with family!! 12:40 party

We are here with family to celebrate our 40th anniversary and want to recognize several people who have gone out of there way to make this state amazing. 
Chris, Octavio, Haza, and Omar. Kept people involved in fun entertainment. 
Our butlers Israel and Manual definitely went out of their way to make us comfortable and address any unforeseen issues. 
Concierge Claudia was instrumental in addressing a few room issues to our absolute satisfaction.  
Andrea was wonderful to work with for our vow renewal. 
Augustine is always friendly and helpful.
