The pillows smelled like Body Odor. Stayed 6 nights two of which nobody cleaned our room. All the rooms smelled like cigarettes. They charge for water that’s free everywhere else. It’s nothing remote to any Hilton I’ve ever stayed inn. Do you like powdered eggs? You’ll love the breakfast (barf) . Never again 

What a bad stain on the Hilton name

The hotel is old. It is not very clean. The information provided by the front desk is misleading. Not enough staff to handle the guests. Only one person at the front desk. I strongly recommend NOT staying here!

Please don't stay here! By far, the worst Hampton Inn ever!

Excellent hospitality. Very clean room and all front desk personal were very professional and nice. Look forward to staying in the future. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The accommodations are excellent.

I have several complaints about this property. 1. This hotel is at a border town and a US chain and at the entrance to an Industrial Park. But not one single tv channel is in English, NONE!! 2. Front desk person at check in did not speak English. 3. Room service menu was in all Espanol, no English whatsoever. 4. No restaurant in hotel as advertised on trip advisor. 

I hate to recommend this, but I would stay in McAllen if calling on the industrial parks. The risk of danger isn’t worth it with no real restaurants within walking distance and no English in the entire hotel

Not American friendly

Nice staff and quality of service. Onise, Clelia, Magaly, Ardelia, Karina, Azael, and Don Berna are excellent people along with the rest of staff. I feell like home. Breakfast, security and quality of service were amazing. Not problems at all.

Business trip to Reynosa

Overall a wonderful experience. Good ambience. Nice lighting. nice bed and bath. water was nice. enjoyed bath. good furnishings. Light but healthy breakfast. its better to add more vegetables. awsome coffee.

Overall wonderful experience

The room smelled terrible to burning wire. And no one offered to move us. We were paying a top dollar for a good stay not to be miserable. All staff was not there when checking out. I mention to reception in regards she just took the key and no even asked of us needing any help. Even seeing my spouse in crushes and my daughter with a one year old baby. No courtesy at all.

Excellent stay. Staff very warm and professional. Onise, Lupita, Santiago and Clelia are very professional. Located aside of a good Mall. Very good complimentary breakfast and Internet Service. Thanks to all.

I made a 2 days reservation in this hotel but due to some issues on my agenda it would not be possible to check in in the 1st day.
So I called direct to the Hotel and request to keep my reservation and said I want the room for the 2nd day I would pay the 2 days, no problem for me. The hotel staff said ok, no issue with that. In the 2nd days, 28.feb I was there and how surprised I was when no room was available and a no show was charged in my credit card.
The lady at the desk made the best to solve and find another place for me to sleep. In the end I went to Holiday Inn but the room there was completely not prepared - there was no water to take a shower, iron was broken, so on...I have a video.
So, I was previously in this same hotel and as overall It is a good place but this experience showed me that in some cases, when you have a situation a little bitte different from normality - it is possible you will face a big issue like that. In my opinion the hotel faced a miscommunication internally and in the end I was the damaged/injuried by that.

Hotel checked me out

We’re non-Spanish fluent Americans. The hotel had s single most English proficient staff. My wife needed immediate care for a Lupus flair. A clinic was found, shuttle provided, driver waited over 2 hours, stopped at Pharmacy and c-store. We got assistance in getting dinner, and negotiating the border the next day.  My best Hampton experience ever (and I like Hampton) and an overall fine hotel stay.
