Near the hub of San Cris activity and nightlife and steps.from the OCC Bus station is this little place.  It's friendly, clean and quiet.  My only issue was the internet - impossible to get working without staff help and even then poor performing.   Not a huge deal as there are lots of other places nearby with free WiFi.  Otherwise, it's a decent place that should work well for most.

Very dirty and uncomfortable hotel. Staff is indifferent at best.Very old dirty rooms there were holes in all the towels very disgusting. The bathroom would not drain properly.Very noisy hotel. They were repairing things in the hotel most of the time,so it was very difficult to rest at all, Breakfast service is super slow as only one server would get the orders and then bring them this was the worst hotel I stayed in Mexico.

Avoid this Hotel

I got a room toward the back - very quiet and fairly modern for the price range. Bathroom kinda sucks, but that's a Mexico thing. There's a weird hum, but I sleep with white noise, so it's fine. Bed is comfortable, room is a good size. Staff is friendly and non-intrusive. Hotel upkeep is fine - again, keeping in mind the price.  When you pay $30 a night, it's not going to be the Ritz, you know? 4 stars compared to other hotels in the same range.

Good for the price

El hotel está cómodo, bonito, de algo moderno, el desayuno rico solo son 5 opciones aproximadamente consta de huevos al gusto acompañado de frijoles negros y plátanos fritos, aparte jugo de naranja o fruta, y café o te, pero el costo calidad es excelente, único inconveniente el estacionamiento es reducido, y algunas habitaciones son amplias y otras demasiado chicas.

This hotel is comfortable, fancy, and a bit modern concept, it's good if you are looking for some one modern, the breakfast is good their have almost 5 different options, like eggs whit black beans, and as dessert fried banana, you can select fruit or Orange juice, and also coffe or tea, it's good the relation cost-quality, only has 2 problem, some rooms are very small and another ones are more bigger, I don't know for why reason, and another problem is the parking, is very small, but is normal in this city. It's a good option. It's closer to the downtown.

Bueno-good

From the minute I walked into the hotel, I had a bad feeling about the place. A really ramshackle check-in area with a not-so-friendly and very unprofessional employee to greet us. We had booked for three nights here but after seeing the room and Facilities cancelled the last two. Not at all as represented in the photos and poorly maintained facility.
San Cristobal has so many excellent and good value hotels I would really look elsewhere for my accommodations here.
