Horrible! I booked at 3am and arrived at 4am with 3 children under 10. They said we couldn't check in because they had no rooms available and the only room I had to would have to pay additional $100. As we sat waiting for our room, they were allowing people to check in to their rooms with the same check in date and same amount as people as I had. I was told we would be able to check in at 12pm and now 3pm. That exactly at 3pm my room would become available, when other people were allowed to be checked in early for same day reservations....

Horrible and waste of my day!

Booked via hotels,com for around 90$C a nught.Stayed 2 nights.

Arrived around but they have a strict 3PM check in so went out for visiting. Came back around 5PM. Was provided a room with queen bed, LCD TV on work desk, semi clean bathroom, with small shower stall and tight toilet bowl location.  No vew has my room was located in the hacienda courtyard.

The hotel is well located in old town, so plenty of restaurants around. Had breakfast outside once and used restaurant on premise once. Brekafast was 200MEX, and was decent, buffet style, with some mexican offerings (chilaquiles, some rolls, frijoles,etc) and american (eggs, pancakes, etc).

They do have a bicycle for rent which i did not opt to use.They also have a small gym with oldish equipment. No pool. 

Good option if you want to be close to the attractions.

Good option in old city

We booked their two bedroom suite with a kitchenette  at least kitchen at four months in advance, thinking that there may be two couples traveling together, as it turns out there were only my wife and I but we decided we would keep the two bedroom suite so we could have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views as we were there over the Mexican Independence Day celebration and being in the heart of Centro we would have lots of views of the festivities. Also, with the exchange rate, being what it was, the two bedroom suite was affordable! When we checked into the hotel, staff was a little suspicious that we had a two bedroom suite booked, and only two guests arriving , I don’t know they may have thought we were going to have a party there. They tried to talk us into their one bedroom suite, we looked at both suites and decided to keep the larger suite, they weren’t going to even adjust the room rate for the smaller suite at all, when I asked why we would take a smaller suite for the same price they offered us breakfast daily which we declined because we wanted to visit the local restaurants for breakfasts. 

The room with a kitchenette had zero utensils, plates or glassware stocked in the kitchen we thought maybe we needed to call for housekeeping to stock the kitchen but there was no such thing as kitchen amenities available. We had to call down to the hotel restaurant to have glassware and silverware delivered. There weren’t even small glasses in the bathrooms for toothbrushes! The amenities and the room were very sparse. the closets had no hangers. and the bedding was sparse and not exactly new. one of the showers clearly had a problem with the drain and sewer gas. It was too smelly to even use that shower. There were things in the hotel room that needed to be repaired, painted or replaced. The whole room seemed a little tired, even though it probably was renovated not that long ago. It was equipped with a smart Room system that was operated by an app that you download to your phone, it didn’t work at all!Getting the lights on and off, adjusting the air conditioning was quite a challenge every night

The website boasts a description of their onsite restaurant with menus so we planned on dining there the night we arrived which was later on a Sunday night but we discovered that the restaurant was only a few tables in the lobby with very limited options- absolutely nothing like the website described, so we went out for dinner, the first two places the hotel staff recommended were closed but we found another restaurant near that was very nice!!

The best location in centro historico!!

Visited from Houston, Location Location Location..! I have a huge range of options with bigger, newer, modern, but location is priceless..! I don’t have a budget in hotel, but I couldn’t stay anywhere else, I could just walk out and experience the Historical Town on my finger tips without driving anywhere, other luxury hotels have the highway right outside of the hotel which is not appealing! The Staff from Housekeeping to front desk are so gracious and attentive..! Thanks for treating me so well, specially when I came this time for a surgery here in SLP and I felt safe and taken care of! 
Just one request..! Need a full size MIRRORS in the room..! That’s all..! I filled up the suggestions slip!

My 6th stayed in La Concordia last week

This hotel is very well run. Excellent, helpful staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast included. The location is ideal for sights and restaurants in the historic center. The only negative is that the room was very small, as was the bathroom. So unless you are traveling alone, try to book the largest room available.

Well-run,  great location

Right in the center of the old town, Hotel Concordia is just steps away from the Cathedral, Plazas and a whole lot of history.  The rooms have been remodeled and have a clean, neat fashionable look.  The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great place, great location.

Pros: Excellent location, great service, good a/c and a decent, affordable breakfast buffet that changed daily for 109 pesos.

Cons:  Weak and intermittent wifi signal in our room, small bathroom, frustratingly difficult to operate room lighting system and no coffee maker in room.

We had an OK three-night stay, but for the wifi issue alone we would not stay here again.

OK Hotel in Great Location

Everything about the hotel was perfect. Our room was spotless. The staff was friendly. The view of San Luis from our room on the eighth floor was breathtaking. It wasn’t inexpensive but it was a good value.
Due to construction in the property parking was a problem but they allowed us to park our car on the construction site.
The best part was its proximity to nightlife and the historical center.
I’ll be back.

Great location 

I will not repeat the facts about its great location and facilities. Great sleep! Some of my colleagues complained about the noise. I could mention that there was no drinking water available; also, the room is so 'intelligent' that it will outsmart you to the point you will be needing help even to turn the lights off! Be sure to ask for thoroughly training and be patient. The Mexican friendliness will compensate any difficulty. I shall come again.
