I don't know why others say the staff was NOT helpful! I found them to be THE kind & had as much to do with my stay as the gorgeous city itself! Oscar welcomed me the Saturday I came in & was beyond helpful & even though I spoke no Spanish & he spoke no English,we communicated through Google & had fun with it! Sylvia was the best at making sure your room was clean once she knew you were gone & went beyond her call of duty! Everyday I would have the breakfast they made for me,which was Guava,papaya,apples with yogurt & granola.I stayed in the room upstairs,room to right & loved the Hand Carved Mexican wood headboard & the Guatemalan runner & all the gorgeous Talavera tile bathroom.There was no water pressure in the shower & they need to fix this,but with all the other over the top wonderful things about the staff,location,I dismissed it.I loved the location since it was super close to the central area & Jardin.
With complaints about noise from other feedback given,what do expect when your in the heart of the city?? It let me know life exists in the city! The staff & location were SO perfect that the next time I go,I am definitely going to be staying there! They made me feel like family & we all expressed to one another "We will miss each other!"It was a short 9 days & I wish it could have been longer!I miss you guys! Much Love,Peggy

LOVE this Hotel!

Located reasonably close to Centro San Miguel de Allende.  This hotel is fine.  Staff is attentive and helpful.  Breakfast was superior.

Our room had big beds.  A knock was that the ventilation was inferior, making the room stuffy.

The Internet went out several times during our stay.  That was also a knock.

We would stay here again, particularly if other rooms had some semblance of ventilation.

Staff was not very helpful. Very noisy in the rooms facing the street, the rooms on the other side of the hotel had dogs barking all night. They advertise a Jacuzzi but it was not usable, unclean.
Breakfast was good.

Not at all as expected

Very so-so B&B in a fairly good location walking distance to the center of town. Breakfast was nice, rooms were adequately clean. That is the best I can say about this place. If you are desperate, it might be okay; however, do not stay in Room 3 - it is small and depressing and a barking dog will keep you awake all night. Honestly. I had to change hotels in the middle of the night (1:00 AM) because it was that bad. Also, do not use the jacuzzi, as it is not cleaned properly. The management at this place is poor. They really do not care about their guest's comfort or satisfaction.

I'd Pass on This One If I Were You

The room was musty, it smelled very bad like mold. We had to kill 3 cockroaches, 1 was crawling on the wall by my head while I slept. The manager would do nothing to fix the problem and we left early without a refund. I do not recommend staying here!

Below my expectation based on the descripton in the booking website.
Parking space was available but they should ask to ALL guests park their car in order to let space for other car parking, people do not park car as should park.

When they have room available and guests arrive earlier they should let guests check in and use the room in advance as a good practice. We had to wait until 3pm to enter in the room. Room is okay, not good not bad.

They do not inform breakfast time neither in the site during reservation nor during check in. Breakfast starts at 9am, too late for the ones need go earlier in the morning. We did not have breakfast.

Location is nice, not great. Walking distance to main square.
It was the wrost place I have been in during the 7 last days, including hotels and hostels.

Do not recommend and I would never come back.
