Great little hotel well situated only 15 minutes walk to the center of San Miguel, staff are really helpful and friendly, Me being English and my girlfriend from Hungary our spanish was limited the hotel owner spoke good English, rooms were clean and spacious, muy bien, gracias amigos

Great little hotel

The owner was super helpful he helped us out with a map and recommedations as where to go and dine. Also got us a cheap taxi service to the airport as well as checking us in despite coming early.
The rooms were clean and cosy.
15-20mins walk from down town but there's a hefty ramp making it hard in the first 5 mins of the walk but overall was excellent.

Amazing stay

The people who received us were the owners, the room was small but ideal for two people, it was clean but it needed more ventilation. 
The owners recommended where to eat, places to visit like the handcraft market...

Ideal for only spend the night here

Upon arrival, I was moved to a different room in a nearby building. My room was beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable. Reliable hot water. Reliable Wifi. Excellent service from manager Ramon and his staff. Easy 10 minute walk from the Parroquia and near plenty of restaurants and shops, yet quiet and tranquil. Absolutely no need for A/C. When needed, one of the staff walked me to a nearby medical clinic. I would be happy to stay again.

A Lovely Room for the Self-Sufficient Traveler

For the price (we paid $29/night), you can't beat it.  Clean & basic room.  Only real complaint was the air situation.  No a/c, which you don't really need in San Miguel.  However, most of the rooms only have windows that open onto the interior corridor.  So, it could be a bit hard to get the room cool on a hot day.  The clerk forgot to meet us at the time we reserved, but we were able to fix this with a phone call.  It was a bit of a problem since our phones don't work in Mexico, but we were able to find a neighbor to call.  The hotel owner didn't charge us for the first night due to the mixup.
