The hotel is fine, for what you pay, this clean, the room is fine even if it has no ventilator. I think that to be a wedding destination and be so ubiquitous, if the amenities in the room are lacking. No hair dryer, no plank and if you come for a weekend to a wedding are the things you will definitely need.

Destiny of the Brides!

A very good hotel in the historic center. A very good price if you don't want to spend more. The room has the basics..the small but nice bathroom. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. You can leave your luggage at the front desk if you have to check out and still want to tour the city.

 The location is impeccable.

Arrived in San Miguel right after Christmas with no reservation.  Happy to find a room.  Hotel is not first class, but moderately priced and very clean.  Beds comfy with nice comforters and pillows.  A little noisy because there are windows in the hallway, but our room offered a fan so it had white noise.

Small but comfy

The room is the size of a room in a normal house, if you carry large suitcases you will have a hard time. The bathroom noises are heard 100% throughout the room, so that of intimacy and romance are not the best. In general the hotel is very nice, super clean and illuminated, the attention of the entire staff is very good, the receptionists are friendly and attentive. Another situation is that a bar in a few establishments, the noise is very loud at night. Listening to music all night. In general it is a regular hotel. If you do not bother with the situations presented and there is attention and precision.

Various considerations before booking.

On our first night, we returned at about 10:00 PM only to find that our key would not open our room. The lobby was totally unstaffed, even though we had been assured earlier that our things would be safe because they had 24-hour coverage. We called the hotel's telephone number, but only heard the phone in the lobby ring and ring, unanswered.

Fortunately, we were traveling with friends whose key not only opened their room - it opened ours as well! While we were happy to get a bed, we couldn't help but wonder who else had keys to our room? Although we had booked three nights, we moved out the next morning. Fortunately, the desk clerk was able to cancel our remaining booking without penalty.

On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is very well located, just a block and a half from the main Jardin.

Very unsecure and sketchy

We returned to our rooms in the evening around 10:15. There was no staff available at all. Any one could walk in off the street. In addition, our friends key did not fit their lock so they had no where to sleep. We called the Phone number of the hotel. The phone on the table up front just rang and  message machine came on. After an hour of not being able to find anyone, we tried our key in our friends lock and it worked. As it turned out the key to their room opened our room but not theirs. Made us wonder. The bathroom in our room was smelly. The only window that opened was into the main hallway, so if you wanted some air (room was stuffy) you were vulnerable all night to anyone who might wander in. ON the up side, the bed was comfortable, the place was quiet and the attendant who arrived in the morning was helpful and we were able to cancel out the remaining two days of our reservation there.

Didn’t feel safe. There was no security of any kind between 10 pm and 8 am.

The hotel is small, with some Mexican decorations, but definitely looks much bigger in the photos. When I arrived we were greeted by a very kind guy who showed us some rooms and we could choose where to stay. It seemed very rare because when I booked it was more expensive because the hotel was full, but even when we arrived, there was the sign empty rooms. When I paid for the booking it was also a little more expensive (the guy couldn't explain why), when I called twice before arriving and confirmed the fare with which I was in my hotel voucher. Yes, it is from downtown, you can walk everywhere, but worse, and as all the other comments say, although the beds are very comfortable, the noise from the nights is SPORTA.

There's a lot to improve.

The room was wet, the bathroom with mushrooms, the excuse no function. They called to clean the bathroom and cleaned it with chlorine...This was at midnight.The room has no ventilation.When I report to the manager.

No se hospeden qui

Horrible experience, the hotel is SO FAR!!! no lavas las sabanas, it's full of telarañas, it should give them shame! all night listening to music from a bar, it's impossible to rest Definitely no vuelvo

The worst place.

Located about 4min walk to the Zocalo(main square) on a side street which was not really busy. The staff were helpful and spoke a little English. The single room was basic with a Queen size bed, a wardrobe, a TV with a number of American channels. The bathroom was very small and flooded which was not fixed before I left. The water pressure was strong and hot water was available at any time. The wifi was a bit sketchy in the room but strong outside near the routers.

The hotel was a bit over priced as this was my most expensive stay for a budget hotel in Mexico where I payed MXN 1306 for two nights bit then everything in SMA is over priced owing to the influx of mainly American and Canadian Retirees and tourists. Around the hotel there were only a few restaurants some which closed early.

Over all a comfortable stay with clean rooms and friendly staff who even helped me with a taxi during the Mon morning rush hour traffic.
