Close to the beach, they lend you towels so you can carry them and recover in the sand, there are books and armchairs to relax, the toilet of our apartment was shared, the bad thing was that it was constantly closed and the water tank was delayed in arriving. Our bad experience was that we returned and the door to the room was unsecured (they had just cleaned) we lacked nothing, we asked to check the cameras as we were sure to close, but we were told that the person who would give us access would arrive and never arrive, so everything indicated that it was the staff that I forgot to close, otherwise it would have been clarified from the beginning.

Sorry to say but I didn’t find the accommodations up to par for its price point. I stayed in the open air Palapa room. I found it to be rather dirty. Cushions were stained on the furniture. Refrigerator was dirty. The floor needed repainted. 
The courtyard that seemed like a lovely spot to hang out from the pictures was being renovated. All chairs and benches were being painted and there was no where to sit. There was no mention of the courtyard being closed when booking. 
It was also not swept the 3 days we were there. 
I don’t believe the restaurant was even open. I never saw anyone cooking. The kitchen dishes and cookware were sitting outside in the courtyard.
The guttering on the rooms roof was very dirty. As well as the roof the room looked out on. 

Be prepared if you book this room that with it being open aired and facing the courtyard there is little privacy. You can hear everyone and they can hear you. 
You will also hear very loud music from the night clubs nearby. 

Plus side was that it was close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again. I saw much better options for the same price.  The place has a lot of potential. Hope they can get to a higher level.

Great location but it ends there

The hotel is exactly as it states.  A little funky, which we loved, it's clean, everyone was great.  There was some construction next door, we really didn't hear it, but the owner came and apologized to us for the daytime noise.  This is a great place to stay if you want to party in town.  It is loud at night, but it's an experience that we really enjoyed. 

Sayulita Downtown Palapa

I recommend this b&b because it is in the centre of the small tourist village of Sayulita, friendly staff, spacious rooms, clean: very nice structure: plenty of breakfast.

Our family stayed at La Morada for 10 days in January and had a fabulous trip. The staff were accommodating, helped us with our infant, went out of their way to give us advice. The facilities were clean, and as pictured. The hosts also generously took us to a secluded beach near their jungle home one day. We felt like part of the Morada family!

I appreciate the attention and treatment that was given to us from the receptionist who can't remember the number but the hospitality and kindness of all the workers was excellent a very remarkable point because you feel like family, the hotel is not big but very original in the center of Sayulita where you have absolutely everything at hand, the price ratio is very good, the rooms are the most original especially the whole of the tree next to the drain that I was in, it's almost a fact that it won't be long before I return to Sayulita and my first choice of accommodation will undoubtedly be this hotel again!!

The simplicity of the condition is simple.

I want to start by thanking Mau, who at all times was attentive to us and was willing to help us with whatever we needed, without a doubt my boyfriend and I spent a few days dreaming.  The room was very nice, the A/C working perfectly, I loved that they had table games available and apart from the location is excellent. 100% recommended, breakfast is very rich and will be included in your stay, the kitchen is just as super friendly and eating outdoors is just as amazing.

An unforgettable experience.

Loving this place was like an oasis in the middle of the desert, Carlos; the one in charge, came to save our experience in sayulita which began in a tragic way but ended in the best thanks to this place and its employees excellent service and excellent price, would once again become super recommended. Very comfortable, rooms and bathrooms super clean, breakfast very rich and everyone very attentive. After the check-out allowed us to leave our suitcases, go to the beach and return to our baths in the best way.

Very nice, yo. Pedí cuatro con. Baño, esta solo lo. Necesario, bueno. Precious, clean, close to the beach, inside the center, excellent location, super recommended, to go with friends.... Lift your own towels.... As a tip.

I'm very happy with it.

Had dinner at La Morada with their "guest" Japanese chef who was working in Sayulita only for a short period of time.  My girlfriend and I had tempura appetizers and miso soup both of which were excellent.  He offered 3 different kinds of tempura and miso to choose from and we tried the veggie tempura and miso.
For the main course we had chicken teriyaki and red snapper filet with a chutney sauce.  Both very nice and attractively presented.
The service was very good and the atmosphere in the garden was peaceful.  Can't wait to see who the next "guest" chef will be.
