I was curious about this place.  It's not that close to the City but that is part of the charm.  It's in the Mountain region and the weather is nice.  I really love the great view and the fact that you can learn things about the Coffee plantations. It also has an spa and a good restaurant.  The cabins are excellent.  I enjoyed staying there

Since there a lot of good things about this place, from food to just the place itself lets focus on the bad.

Yeah well the road it's bad... but i've driven worse, also the paved part was worse than the dirtroad at leas for me (raining and night).

The coffee... i didn't like the coffee.... for my snob coffee taste, it was overfocused on toasting. Didn't buy anything apart from the initial courtesy coffee cup.

The mosquitoes or whatever those things are called. After being there one night, i was full of bites.

The amount of water for one flush of the toiles is infinite. (exagerated)

And they do not treat their waste water... at least for the date that i visited.

The review will be negative although i liked this place.

Visit this hotel on a day trip. Very difficult road (you will need a 4x4 and then carefully). However when you reach it (top of the mountain) you can look down over the world above the clouds. Restaurant really good and accommodation including a small swimming pool which was equally good. Best coffee I have ever drunk (food miles = less than 1!). We went in the wet season but was a stunning place would have loved to have stayed

Peace perfect peace

The perfect place to admire great landscapes and nature. Coffee plantations are awesome ( coffee everywhere), the people who is working there will treat You like you are in home and that is really special. They recommend to be there between October and February when they work to get the coffee beans from the plantations  . 
Food in the restaurant is really good and they have a very complete menu. 
Coffee’s taste is amazing and they show you all the technics to prepare it and taste it.  
The rooms are ok However they don’t have TV so, after you are done there is nothing to do in the room. 
The mattress was not good.  at the least the one that We used on the Jorojo Cabin was not confortable enough, it was really  hard and it did not let us sleep confortable.
Wifi is not the best but it could understandable since the Finca is really far away from civilization.
Mosquitos are freaking crazy, I got bunch of bites everywhere, but that is not something that the finca can control, you are in the forest and it is like that.

Amazing view and landscapes but accommodations could be better.

The views are spectacular, the coffee and restaurant deserve five stars. The drive up was beautiful but the roads are terrible. Be ready for a long, rough ride. The room was clean but not very comfortable. Nice bathroom. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. No communication between rooms and office or restaurant. Walking up and down hill to restaurant is not super difficult but we had rain and fog part of the time. 

Beautiful View, Rough Ride

This is a very difficult review for me because I really want to write a positive one but do not want to mislead other travelers.  So I will start with the positives, which could be called superlatives.  The view - absolutely beautiful as others have noted.  The rooms - clean with comfortable beds (exception as noted below).  The staff - absolutely wonderful.  Bertha and the entire crew did all they could to help me with my special interests and all were friendly and attentive.

Now the downside.  The rooms are way over priced.  I have traveled extensively in the tropics and have stayed in a wide variety of luxury resorts and simple rooms.  For what you get, the price here is about double what it should be.  The room was too small for two queen beds.  During the daytime it was 83°-85° F (28°-29° C) in the room with NO FAN.  At night it cooled off enough but there was a mosquito problem and I had to cover up completely (over my head) to keep from being bitten while asleep.  I asked for a fan and unbelievably there was none to be had on the entire finca.  A simple fix - add a $30 fan and a mosquito net for the rooms as most other places I have stayed.

The restaurant was adequate, but the only "meal" included in the price was a breakfast cup of coffee, glass of juice, and a very tiny plate of fruit hardly worth bothering with.  The food prices were a little above what I would call average.  And amazingly for a coffee farm, they charged 20 pesos ($US 1.54 at current exchange rate) for a cup of coffee.  I would expect they would have coffee available all day long at no charge.

So Bertha and Ulyses - please don't hate me for writing this.  You were both wonderful but the owners need to understand that a few simple changes and a more reasonable price would easily bump my review up to 5 star.
