My family of 6 stayed in Villa 4 at Villas Flamingos and absolutely loved it! The space was so big that we could have fit another family with us in this villa. Everything was clean and in great shape and had beautiful architecture. We especially loved the access to the pool right out back. We didn't swim in half moon bay too many times because the water was a little rough from a couple of rainy days (apparently it is usually very calm), but we still enjoyed sitting out there, watching the water, and especially seeing a turtle nest hatch on our last night. The cleaning staff, Susana and Belen, were so helpful and such nice people. They kept our place very clean and replaced our towels daily. The landscaper, Luis, was also great -- one day, he was kind enough to cut down some coconuts from a tree and open them with his machete, and they were delicious! We also got to know the property manager, David, who was very nice and attentive. Overall, the whole staff at Villas Flamingos felt like family. An added bonus was being connected to the main Hotel Akumal Caribe so that we could take advantage of parking there when we wanted to go to a store or restaurant or use their beach area and pool. We highly recommend these villas!

Beautiful location, perfect for the whole family!

These are excellent villas that are oceanfront  nicely furnished and a good   central location in Akumul. Nice pool.  

Good kitchen equipment and plates, glasses etc. very good housekeeping services. 

Would stay here again. 

Excellent villas

We stayed 6 nights in the villa number 3 with our 2 kids and we've really appreciated the location, the beach and the possibility to go to the hotel Akumal Caribe. Our villa was very nice: the bedrooms were huge and the bathrooms were very nice. We recommend it!

Very nice villa

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves in mid-May. Unit #1 is on the north end and offers the most privacy. Excellent maid service. Grounds were always clean too. Seaweed over took our beach on the last day. You are at the mercy of winds and currents. Easy walk to food & drink options plus there is a little market 2 minutes away. Bring extra beach towels. Oh, and be sure and get the parking pass which will save $ every time you go into town.

Great location and ambience.

We stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 2-year-old. The hotel is great, our room had an outdoor shower and indoor shower with a very nice design. The in-room spa was also very nice and enjoyable. The food is very good and we had great service from the waiters, especially, Juan who always tried to make my daughters stay fun. We took a kayak down the beach to the flamingos and it was amazing. I think the service and hotel quality is great considering you are on an island in Mexico. We had no bug issues and no problems with our room. Stay here if you plan on visiting Holbox.

Best location in Holbox and great service

Our family really enjoyed our recent reunion at Villas Flamingo Nr. 1. Communication with the owner's representative (Leon) during the booking process was superb; he was very helpful, quick & comprehensive. The grounds, pool and the villa were exactly what we were looking for: right on the beach, safe, quiet, clean, large and comfortable. Daily maid service was excellent, very friendly. Check-in staff at Hotel Akumal Caribe were great; loved that we could park our rental car at the hotel lot adjacent to Lol-Ha for those times when we visited town. Nothing fancy here; our family had a great time. We'll be back.
