500 pesos for a night its a really good deal, (about 25 us)cable, a-c,clean and only two blocks away from the cathedral and the park, plus they have a nice pool, the lady at the front desk was really nice and attentive 

Good price

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay. We were in rooms on the 3rd floor.
These rooms have no AC however the evenings were cool and no AC was required.
The room had 2 comfortable queen beds, no TV, good hot water and a ceiling fan, the cost was 320 pesos. We were also offered a ground floor room for 450 pesos that had AC and a TV but we didn,t find it necessary. The grounds a very well kept and the front desk attendant was very pleasant.

Location was excellent, only a short 5 minute walk to the square.There a few nice places to eat around the square, not a lot of places but enough. Cenote Zaci is also only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and well worth going to.

There is a very good wifi connection around the reception area, the wifi  was also working outside my room door but the connection was not nearly as good.

Do not expect the Ritz but it is a great stay. If the cost of the room was 700 pesos it would be a 2 star rating.

Pleasant stay

Stayed here for 2 nights with my friend. The room was clean, furnishings, linens and bathroom very old. I was afraid to lean on the sink for fear it might fall off of the wall. We only paid 350 pesos including tax so can;t complain too much about too much. If you want to wake up early the roosters out back will wake you just before sunrise, Nice pool but not much seating on a hot sunny afternoon. Parts of hotel under renovation by front lobby, more Spanish speaking than American or European guests. The pool was busy until 11 pm or so but after that it's a quiet place to sleep. 
I found a drop off laundry a block to the left outside the hotel front door, just past Cenote Zaci, left my clothes in the am and they were done early evening, great price 40pesos, very nice.
Don't think I would stay at this hotel again because for a little more money you can upgrade to a much nicer hotel in Viadollid.

Old but clean, better choices in town

Spent only one night here. 500 pesos... so i guess you get what you pay for but at least i expect cleanliness. We opened the night table stand and it had an old package of nuts with ALL of the chewed shells all over the drawer. And a cigarette butt on the floor next to the bed. You walk in and they hand you one roll of toilet paper and 2 horrific towels. The sheets smelled like a grandma. I prefer if im on a budget to just do a true hostel, or spend more for a decent room somewhere else.

No Gracias

I was at an internet café 3 minutes away and it said online through Expedia that a room was available so I walked over.the guy at the desk was very nice but the girl was ignorant.I just asked to get online for 2 minutes to find another room.the guy said yes..she said something to him in Spanish and he said sorry broken..she was very unpleasant and should not work in tourism..maybe a factory..it was January 3rd at 3 pm..
