This is a hidden gem. It is conveniently located near the Plaza e Parque Francisco Canton. We stayed in the family room and it was perfect. It came with a king size bed and two double beds. Breakfast was included and to my surprise it was a sit down and be served kind of breakfast not a continental breakfast that is laid out for guest to serve themselves. The AC worked great, the only room without AC was the second bathroom upstairs but we did us it much during the heat of the day, it was fine at night.  The employees were all so kind and mainly speak Spanish. Valladolid is an hour behind Cancun which was a surprise to me so keep in mind when thinking about check in time.

One day before Chechen Itza

This place is a gem right in the heart center of Valladolid.  Secure parking right next to the hotel, so easy in and out.  It’s on a busy road, but we had a room overlooking the street (during Carnival!) and we were not bothered by the noise at all.  Super nice staff and a fabulous breakfast in the garden as well.  Highly recommended!!!

Perfect spot in Valladolid!

So this is the third time I have stayed at this property - obviously I like it. A few highlights:
1. Welcoming staff - they remembered me from last year.
2. Beautiful garden area for breakfast and relaxing; beautifully and typically decorated common areas.
3. Large rooms with fridge, bathrobe, good wifi, that are quiet at night.
4. Unbeatable location right off the main square.
5. Delicious and huge included breakfast.

This place is wonderful value for money. My only suggestions are that they move away from single use toiletries and do wall mounted bottles; adding conditioner would be especially nice. Also, this is an old building, and sometimes that shows. I find it pretty charming, but some people like new everything. I hope to return next year!

Third Stay

Would highly recommend this lovely garden sanctuary in the centre of Valladollid! The room was very comfortable and a delicious breakfast is included. All the staff (including Alex) were very friendly and helpful  - THANK YOU for a wonderful stay ❤️ 

Highly recommended in Valladolid

It was a magical, beautiful, traditional place with the best breakfast we had in Mexico. We loved our stay here and we would recommend it to everyone who is visiting Valladolid. Location is perfect and they have parking too. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality, we had a great time.

Charming small hotel with incredibly friendly staff.  The back courtyard where the breakfast is served is like a tropical oasis.  Two small pools and multiple lounging areas were never crowded.   

There are many different types of rooms, we were in the honeymoon suite on the upper floor. Highly recommend. 

I would absolutely return here on a future visit.

The entrance is a bit tricky, but just take a look on Google maps ahead of time to see what the entrance looks like.

Stunning boutique hotel. The people working there were so friendly and gave us some truly great recommendations of things to see in the area which ended up being highlights.

The room (which was the honeymoon suite) was stunning! Very big and the bathroom was gorgeous. The quality of the bedding, towels and products was fantastic.
The coffee in the room was so good! 

The breakfast included was great, made to
order and presented so beautifully, it was some of the best breakfast we had in Mexico for the two weeks we were there. Such attention to detail.

There is a small plunge pool which we didn’t use, but it looked lovely and was spotless. In fact the entire building and grounds was immaculate. The bar wasn’t really open fully when we were there but you could ask a staff member for something and they would ofcourse help. 

There was some noise at night, there seemed to be a night club across the road, but  this was only one of the nights. So maybe it was a one off.

They had free parking in an adjacent car park which was very handy.

And the location is incredible, it’s right off the historic square which is beautiful and great for ppl watching.

We fell in love with Valladolid and Casa Mia Ticha was a big part of that. Highly recommend!

This was my second time back to Casa Tia Micha.  Having stayed here twice I better understand the benefit of choosing a local and family-owned property.  Casa Tia Micha is beautiful and centrally located, the rooms are clean and comfortable and well designed.  During the heat of mid-day we appreciated having the small pool and cool courtyard to relax in.  Beverage service from the attached bar was nice.  The breakfast here is very high quality and a great way to start the day.  The primary reason I'll continue to return is because of the gracious and welcoming staff.  My Spanish is very limited so the help I received getting taxis to see the surrounding area was most useful.  Uber is not yet available in Valladolid or Cancun, however it is in Merida.  Thier recommendations on sightseeing and dinning helped make our short stay there more interesting and fun.   Muchas Gracias to the staff of Casa Tia Micha!
