Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Valladolid, 100 metres from the quiet bus station. What a welcoming and kindness of the owners. Coffee, tea, fruits available. swimming pool, excellent wi-fi. You feel at home. A real heart attack. Everything is perfect.

I went with my family, the place is very clean, beautiful, safe and comfortable. It offers seasonal fruit, coffee and tea. It is very well located, the owners are very friendly and offer you options to explore the surroundings of Valladolid.

La casona has a wonderful terrace with pool, clean rooms, beautiful terraces, many common areas and at the same time there is intimacy.The kindness of Kika y Chacho is undoubtedly what we liked most, making the stay a very pleasant experience.

The best option in Valladolid

I discovered this place after 2 nights without the A/C in a hostel and I regret my choice for the 2 first nights. If I knew I booked directly with them !

We arrived with no reservation and ask for booking a room, the first contact was super ! One Mexican with a very good English that’s awesome !

The room is clean and everything is very nice in the room. They explain you everything in details. WiFi is working good also !

Outside you can find water, toasted bread, tea and coffee all day long, a nice terrace and a swimming pool.

They don’t hesitate to say hello or asking if everything is fine when they see you. You understand after that is a family house with guest rooms inside and you feel like a friend invited and that thing is priceless ! You can talk with them a lot, they’re so nice ! 

They could advise you some places to visit or to eat. The entrance is in the center of Mérida, 150 maximum of ADO terminal and so quiet at the time !

We came and didn’t want to leave...

Let me start with, this place was $15 US per night. It's one block off the main plaza. A big family home that takes up half the block. Rooms with 3 different locked entrances, some in the back garden on ground floor, some above the businesses below. Large room, 2 doubles, mini split AC, a fan, hot water and a very nice family running it. Mom sits in front of her sewing machine all day. She took a towel and added an embroidered edge and made it into a bath mat. She made very clever back board for the beds. The room, while old, was tastefully decorated. I shared a living room with two other dwellings as well as a lovely patio equipped with cups, glasses and a clean water dispenser with hot and cold water., tea bags, instant coffee, and a little refrigerator. I could happily live there. And all for $15!  They will raise the rate as soon as you all discover this place. It's only $20 on booking. com.  I looked up their phone number and contacted them via whatsapp. And they speak some English.  This place is a gem! 

A hidden gem in Valladolid 

The place is super situated, in addition to the fact that the house is historic, it is over 100 years old. The attention is good, you feel like in the house of the uncles or grandparents, it is a nice experience to be there. Its facilities are new and is the ideal place to rest. Also they have a very nice pool and the space is ample.

The hotel is a house, very well located, a block from the bus terminal and it's in the center, close to everything. And good price. Room is comfortable, hot water, I recommend room with air conditioning because it's too hot!

It's a small, unpretentious hotel, but it's lived up to all our expectations. It's very well located, in the city center, there's free parking right next door, and it's not expensive. Our room was spacious, 2 big beds, the comfortable bathroom, the water was flowing, which wasn't the case all over Mexico. There was even a small terrace to share. In short, a very good price/quality ratio. Perfect.

That's perfect.

It's a Mexican house with several rooms, very spacious, with a delicious terrace outside. Very cheap, the price is the best I found in valladolid. Very central, close to all points of interest. The bathroom is in the room, while there are common spaces with couch and kitchen. You can choose whether to have the room with fan or air conditioner. I recommend that with the air conditioner because, even though it makes a lot of noise, it chills more, while with the fan it charges a lot of heat. The wifi is perfect! The only problem I had was with the water sink that didn't work very well, but otherwise it seems to be in your own cabinet. Increaseful! We also have to park the car in their backyard in P.S. L. But you can't ask much about the fact that the store is underneath the store.

Characteristic and familiar

This is not a hotel or hostel but a traditional Mexican house. Super cute! It's old and not fancy but it has so much character. It's really well taken care of. Everything was clean and she provided us with whatever we needed. Felt like visiting an old friend. The terrace is perfect for chilling during the day. Central location and there is a supermarket and veggie shop around the corner.
