We've visited Zipolite many times and Lo Cosmico is our favorite.  Magic place, wonderfully rustic and whimsically designed.  Stay here if you can, and if you cannot, visit for breakfast, it's wonderful.

Love Lo Cosmico

This isn't a 5-star hotel; but it is an amazing, unique place run by some really classy, lovely guys who really care about their guests. Thatched roofs, linen mosquito nets and cotton hammocks; a beautiful, great views of a secluded beach and a nice simple but good restaurant. Feels Earthy, natural and raw, but in a great way. Lets you imagine what Mexico might have been like in another time. A quick wander into town or onto the main beach. The highlight of our trip.

Perfectly rustic & natural. Beautiful location.

This was our second year at Zipolite and we knew what we wanted: on the beach, laid back and simple accomodations, close to the all the great eating spots. This exceeded our expectations. Specifically we were delighted with the size of our room, the location of the property is amazing and the little restaurant and commons area offered a special place to refresh. Prices at the restaurant were very, very good and the best breakfasts we had all week were right outside our door. The owner and staff were so helpful in giving us assistance and great advice. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful experience

My son and I stayed at Lo Cosmico for 2 weeks, and found it to be the perfect base for exploring Zipolite and the surrounding villages and towns. 

Antonio is the perfect host, and our room was facing the ocean. A little rustico, but very comfortable, and great access to the beach!

Comfortable, and welcoming

Arrived in Zipolite with 3 friends and had booked no where to stay . The owners of Lo cosmica were so welcoming and found us a room straight away. The location of these cabanas are great, right on the beach. If you are looking for an authentic cabana or hammock experience I would recommend this place to stay.
