Hotel Olimpia

The Olimpia Hotel is located well off the street in the Botanskaya part of town. As it is off the street, it is not at all noisy, in the early evening one hears the sound of a tennis ball and light renovation (pounding of nails and the occasional use of power tools) but none of the sights, sounds, or smells of a busy street. It is hard to find the first time, as it's not on the main street. Plenty of trolley bus service on Decebal Blvd, I used trolley bus #8, N. Titulescu stop, but do double check the trolley bus map. Evidently this stop is served by the "A" bus to the airport, though service is rather infrequent. Lots of "Marschrutki" (mini buses). The room itself was just right, not cramped, not that big, and spotlessly clean. Washroom was also spotlessly clean, modern toilet and shower stall, plenty of hot water. Slept well every night. Very good wifi. We had a very nice breakfast prepared for us every day, the menu varies. Plenty of shops nearby, there was a Gruzian (Georgian) bakery near the bus stop across the street, also a Bomba (like Media Markt, Best Buy, etc.) and a large food store in the same building. Lots of restaurants. Even a McDonalds nearby.
