A very nice place to stay, good location, awesome views nice clean and tidy. Only problem was we forgot an envelope of money we’d left in the safe .  Went back two days later to get it and it was gone and not handed in. Maybe it was taken by the next person in the room and not the cleaner

I have spent in this hotel 4 not consecutive nights and I was able to leave for 3-4 days some of my luggage and so going on some trips with a reduced luggage.
The hotel itself is very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent.
The location can't be better in the centre of the city.

Excellent accomodation in Ulan Bator

After returning from countryside. I decided to book a room at this hotel. The reception a man told me there is no room available and when I checked through booking.com there are few rooms available. So booked through booking.com and showed the guy my reservation and he told me still no room. And he called his manager and lied about everything that what happened. So whoever manager see this pls find my attached document of my confirmation letter.
Train your staff and respect all others same ways.

Rude the rudest reception

Stayed there about 2 days.
It was enough time to visit all the attractions.
Other than that it is usual your 4 star hotel.
I only rated 5 stars because service was very nice.
I would totally recommend this place

Right in the heart of the city

We slept in a double room and found it very nice and comfortable. It was clean and with a nice view of the city. The right place to have a rest and relax after tiring tours around this beautiful country! 

The location is just perfect. In another occasion we stayed in the Hostel and we can say that the Hostel private rooms are exactly the same than the standard hotel rooms but cheaper. The only difference is that you don't get the nice buffet breakfast and that you cannot have a room with a king-sized bed!

Nice rooms and good location 

The hotel is clean, modern and pleasant with large rooms. However it is essential to check your booking before arriving. We arrived to find they had overbooked (although we had booked months is advance) and we were shunted to a lower standard hotel further away (without anyone explaining why as no-one seemed to have any english. Appreciate it’s not their language but at midnight it’s unnerving to be collected from the airport and arrive at an unexpected lower star hotel without any explanation). Apparently this is not uncommon. When we finally got our room in Khusvgal it was a lovely room with a view. The top floor restaurant is good, but the regime is unusual insofar as you pick your meat and then cook it at the table. This is fine if you get the meat you ordered, but 2 of our table got someone else’s (several times!). They were then billed at checkout for our food and we were only billed for starters- luckily it was sorted as we had all kept our restaurant invoices.

Double, triple check your booking (at least)

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and we were satisfied. The location is perfect, the hotel is in the heart of the city. In non peak time we reached the hotel in 20 minutes from the airport. Actually in peak time the traffic is terrible.
The room is not big, but acceptable, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

A nice hotel in the heart of Ulaanbaatar

It's a good hotel in a good location with comfortable rooms and a good free buffet breakfast. It has a good restaurant on the top floor of the building (City  Tower).  It has good TV with a lot of channels to choose from.  The convience store on lobby level is good too.

I wouldn't book tours through the hotel because they are too expensive.

Most importantly, let me warn you that the beds in my Deluxe Twin room are the hardest beds I have ever slept on in my entire life.  I have tried numerous ideas to soften them but they can't be softened.  Every night I toss and turn because the bed hurts my hips and when I awake for the morning, my hips are sore.  You have been warned.

Other than that, it's a nice place to stay.

Good for the price I paid.

There are two sections of this hotel. One is hotel stay and another is hostel Budget stay. We chose the Hostel stay for one night transit before we began our guided trip to central/ southern Mongolia. Excellent hotel with hassle free check-in and check-out process. 1 hour transfer to airport, but we happened to reach during the peak hours 7am-9am which took us 2 hours as we were stuck in the traffic. Do factor in the traffic conditions which can be very bad and the only transfer option is by road. We booked twin room and was given high floor where we were able to enjoy sunrise view of Ulaanbaatar city from our room window. Spacious and clean room with basic amenities and toiletries provided. The room looks like a hotel standard to us and doesn’t feel like Hostel stay at all with attached toilet & bathroom. Breakfast is self-service and guests are required to clean up after the meal, which is perfectly okay for us. Hotel provides money exchange service from USD to local currency- Tughrik. There is a convenient store with snacks & drinks at hotel lobby too. Good location opposite a supermarket, 5-mins walk to Sukhbaatar Square and eateries are within 15-20 mins walk. There is a famous Mongolian cuisine restaurant - Modern Nomad which is within 5 mins walk from hotel. We are very happy with the one night stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Ulaanbaatar! 

Budget friendly Hostel 

Khuvsgul Lake Hotel is in a perfect location right beside Sukhbaatar Square and Opera House..Lots of great shopping nearby Mongolia Cashmere  and amazing free breakfast buffet,Super clean and quiet. Definitely will stay her again
