Palma Apartments 

We stayed here for a week in June and it was truly an excellent place to base ourselves for our week of exploring Montenegro. The location is great, just a short walk from Kotor town itself. The apartment we had was beautiful, finished to a really high standard, air conditioned, fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, nice living room area with large screen TV (not that we used it!) and also there’s a washing machine. Bathroom was spacious and the shower lovely. Bedroom was great, huge bed (super comfy) and nice pillows. Can’t fault it. The main thing has to be THAT view though… the bay of Kotor is stunning as you likely know already if you’re reading this, but to actually see it and be there is another level. It’s beautiful. We had a terrace with our apartment, it was so nice sitting there watching the boats go by on the bay, especially seeing the cruise ships - leaving! The apartment hosts/owners who live in one of the apartments on site are super nice and friendly, even bringing us a local, delicious cake one afternoon. They have a beautiful dog called Ice too, who’s often around to welcome you in the morning as you’re leaving or coming back. There is parking at the apartment if you have a rental car which was one of our reasons for booking here. Oh and there’s a nice water front street with bars and restaurants just a short walk from the apartment, handy if you don’t fancy walking to the town for dinner. The addition of a pool would be welcome, and we were told it’s on the horizon! We love Montenegro and will definitely be coming back… and when we do we’ll definitely be staying here again!
