I had reservation in this apartment. We arrived exactly on time for the agreed reservation and when we called the owners to tell us the exact coordinates of the apartment we experienced a shock! They canceled our reservation and they did not inform us. They do business as follows. If you have a reservation for an apartment, they will cancel your reservation without your knowledge and will give your room to someone who offers them more money or who comes before you. 

DON'T USE RESERVATION IN THIS APARTMENT. IT'S AWFUL

This was my first time visiting Montenegro Ulcinj, and safe to say I won’t be coming back despite the great moments I’ve had. 
Do not book this place to stay at, they have tried to scam us for more money despite already paying the full amount, which has been taken out of our bank accounts, they have also illegally taken our passports out of the property and then threatened to not give us our passports back until we’ve paid them more. They’ve uploaded their guest house on hotels.com where there is 2 options to make a payment (with cash or online payment) tell me how they are able to use this website if they have not set up any online payment methods to receive the money with? We’ve contacted hotels.com and they have confirmed everything. I’d also like to add the fact that we have so much evidence from confirmation bookings, email exchanges with hotels.com themselves to prove that we were not at fault. air? I don’t think so. Avoid this place at all costs. We were told to wait until 3pm for our passports, when it shouldn’t have even left the premises, and we waited well over 3pm and when the owner showed up he was being very unprofessional. The owner had the decency to threaten us with “if we don’t get paid, you’re not getting your documents back.” He was a grown 6ft or even bigger man and he had the audacity to try use aggressive force against my 19 year old friend who is a girl. I have video evidence of this guy trying to hold our friend back while he stepped up to my friend. This experience was traumatic and no one should ever put themselves in this type of danger. I felt helpless and unsafe when I all wanted to do was have a nice holiday with my friends. Don’t leave your wife and grandma who are centuries behind to look after a whole apartment building and handle business, who cannot even communicate in any English, “shut the f*ck up” was the only English his wife could mutter out. Also to add to that when I decided to record this encounter with the man for our own safety, his wife then tried to attack me. Absolutely appalling behaviour. Meanwhile the owner has been no where to be found up until this incident. Leaving an old lady who cannot communicate at all to try collect this “money” they haven’t received is ridiculous. For a place who claims to only accept payments via cash says a lot about them, please bare in mind that on the website description it never stated that they only accepted cash. Leaving no paper trail? This place screams dodgy. We will be contacting hotels.com and the police to find out where our money that they have supposedly not received has gone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
