So firstly, we had an amazing time with the rafting. Our two sons, 5 and 9, were treated like royalty - but made to work and loved being an active part of the rafting experience. Our guide was passionate about the river and made it a really memorable experience.
But then came the most incredible attention to detail! The organiser, Milada, who was excellent at communicating with us before and during the trip, found that we had left a book that our eldest really loved, and couple of other things. She took them to Podgorica and posted them to reach us in our next Airbnb before we flew home. It was the perfect conclusion to a truly memorable family holiday in Montenegro. We can’t ever fully thank Milada for our son’s reaction - he’s only just stopped running around in circles with delight that someone he’d only just met would go to those lengths!

Going above and beyond!

I stayed in the waterfall rafting center for 3 nights with my boyfriend. This was an amazing experience that we would highly recommend. The cabin is very cozy and the rafting trip very well organized. There is a very good and family atmosphere on the camp and everyone is very kind. Moreover, the food is local and delicious, including the breakfast. I am allergic to gluten and they always offered me a suitable alternative. Thank you very much to Milada and all the team for making us feel at home during this stay.

Fantastic stay

We booked a half day rafting trip. Breakfast and lunch are included. The lunch was very delicious and staff were friendly.  
Beautiful views during the rafting. Rafting gear is provided. You have the possibility to attach your GoPro to the helmet. 
Absolutley recommendable.

Great Rafting Trip

Our stay at Rafting Center Waterfall was great! The hosts made us feel just like at home and took care of our every request and provided us delicious food and true rafting adventure. The accommodation is right next to Piva river and guests can enjoy both nature and comfort of beautiful wooden cottages. The camp is situated in wonderful place, their food is traditional, however they take care of each guest and their food preferences.  Sitting around camp fire at night was great experience as well as rafting on Tara river the next day. Me and my friends warmly recommend this place and would be happy to be their guests again. Blagojevic family who runs the Rafting Center Waterfall is a perfect example of Montenegrin hospitality & warmth and you definitely shouldn't miss, regardless the fact where you come from.

Relaxation and Adventure at Rafting Center Waterfall

We, a family of four (the kids, 12 and 8 years of age), stayed for two nights in the waterfall rafting camp. We just had a great time there, got a fantastic rafting trip and - last, but not least - pretty useful advice. 

The place itself is very quiet, cozy and beautiful. It's is located not far from the Bosnian border and the Piva lake. There is the main building, a couple of small cabins with four beds and a bathroom - we had one of those - and three bigger and probably more comfortable chalets. They have a couple of animals and offer table tennis.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the main building. The food is local and everything was very rich and tasty. The breakfast buffet is awesome, different kind of cheese, ham, sausages, eggs, "Montenegrin muffins" and fantastic self-made hummus. 

We did the rafting trip on the beautiful Tara river. The rafting experience is easily doable with kids, in late summer there is not that much water in the river. Yet, you face some white water parts. We were in the boat of "Captain Lazar", highly to recommend! The trip lasts for almost three hours with a stop on the Bosnian side of the river and is pure fun.

What really impressed me was the honest advice Milada, the owner of this place, gave us. Because our kids fell in love with the place we changed our travel plans and wanted to stay for another night and book another experience before continuing to Kosovo. Milada was not fully booked, so she could have had us for one more more night. But, when she heard about our travel direction she recommended to book the experience and then stay at another place because that would save us from a two hour extra drive. So, we left the place early and a bit sad on the next morning to the other experiences (canyoening and horse back riding). As we had some delay we also had to call Milada another time and ask her to get in touch with the guides to give us a bit more time. That worked pretty well.

So, to keep a longer short: If you want to raft the Tara river , if you are looking for a nice and more than friendly place with great food and local people with  good advice and ideas, that's the place to be!

Perfect basecamp for a Tara rafting (or any other adventure) trip

We loved this part of our trip. The environment of the accommodation was just spectacular and the rafting was so good. 
We stayed one night with rafting which was 3 meals included. We opted to sleep in the twin room cabin to keep costs down (€65pp vs €85pp for the double cabin). Cabin was big enough and clean and comfortable. 
The hosts were very nice and our rafting guide was amazing. 
During the rafting there was a break stop at a bar in the middle of nowhere which was a great part too. In the evening a camp fire was lit and we sat by it and listened to the waterfall in the background. 
We highly recommend this company and the adventure.... you will not be disappointed to visit Piva of Tara River. 

Montenegro adventure 

The experience I had at the waterfall Rafting Center was quite extraordinary. The staff and all the workers were above par and were very friendly and helpful people. I was greeted with hospitality that will never be forgotten. The rafting experience in whole was amazing and the trip through the Tara River was beautiful. In all honesty, the food was surprisingly delicious. In the three days I stayed, I must say the buffet for breakfast was so good, that I could compare it to that of a 4-5 star hotel. For lunch and dinner, we always had choices for different traditional meals that we could choose. The options consisted of meat, fish and vegetarian meals.

Great Experience

We first visited Slavko in summer 2013. In 2018 we came back to Montenegro to visit him and were more than excited to see the new Waterfall Rafting Center. It's the most beautiful place to build a camp, in the silence of the Piva Canyon. On the other side of the Piva River there is a beautiful waterfall.
The houses and the whole camp is really build with love and passion - and not only for money and profit, like some other camps, we saw during our trip. The raft guides care a lot about safety and do everything to offer you a great trip down the river.
Slavko and his staff did a great job and supported us with good food and helped us, finding the best routes and places in the mountains.

A great place to stay!

Malida and her staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our travels a truly memorable and smooth time. Food was the best we've had in Montenegro - very homely and tasty! Lots of activities to do e.g. rafting, canyoning and ziplining, but also on site table tennis, darts, campfire and more! Cabins are simple but everything you need. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing hospitality!

This is a great place. The food is decent, and I loved their cream vegetables. The owners are friendly. It can be a little cold at night. The location is quite far from a city; it would be best to have your own transport.

The rafting itself is great and very safe. It's best to later in the season (e.g. in July), when the water levels are lower - there's more rapids then, and it's more exciting. Be ready to get wet, though. They also provide wetsuits and jackets, which keep you mostly dry and warm. They also stop by a beach bar, where you can buy drinks (e.g. alcohol).

It's worth the experience.
