This is a nice and cheap hostel at Imlil, walking distance from the town center. The host was super friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast, small rooms, the beds are pretty hard. Bathroom was big and clean. No toiletries,but that's Morocco. Close walk to the town and restaurants. Ok wifi.

Good cheap hostel in Imlil

Delicious food, don´t miss their lamb tajin, super confortable room with awesome views of the atlas. The staff it´s beyond kind, they can provide anything you migh need at super afordable price. Unbeatable.

The best place arround

Place is located in a wonderful location with an amazing view from two terraces. We've also loved meals prepared by our host and his family. They are not only wonderful people but also great mountain guides, which is helpful when you're plalning a trip to Toukbal! We really recommend this place :)

Charming place

We spent 2 nights, one night  before going up the mountains and one when we got down. Accomodation is cosy and the staff very friendly and helpfull. Gite is cca 5-10 minutes walk from the center of Imlil, near to mosque. Food was delicious, hot tea always available.

Amazing location and friendly staff

We stayed here for three nights in February. The hosts were so friendly and amazing. The owners son met us in town and walked us to the guest house. 
The views from the terrace overlooked Imlil and the surrounding mountains. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious traditional Moroccan meals, and they always kept the mint tea coming. 
The gite is both adorable and comfortable. It felt more like a home than a business. It was far enough from the center of town to escape the noise and distractions. 
The hosts even held our luggage for us while we trekked Toubkal, and arranged our crampon rentals. 
If you’re looking for an authentic mountain experience, then this is the place for you. 

Wonderful Hosts and Amazing Location

I spent 3 nights. 2 before going up the mountains and 1 when I got down. The gite is cosy and the staff very friendly and helpfull. They fixed me a great mountain guide and while I stayed I ended up doing all my meals there. Warm tea always available.

Base camp to Toubkal

We only stayed one night at the lodge but had a great time.
The lodge is ~5 minutes walk from the village center and closer to the start of the Toukbal/refuge hike.
Hussain & Mohamed are extremely nice and welcoming. Hussain speaks perfect English & French.
We had to change our plans for the 2nd night but Hussain was very accommodating and a lovely host altogether!
