I arrived at Le Jammou with my tour group but I was very sick (Covid).  The staff was absolutely fantastic - so welcoming and helpful.  They took amazing care of me - bringing meals to my room for the  two days and nights I was there.  I would go back in a heart beat - only healthier - to be able to experience all of the beauty in the surrounding countryside.  The guesthouse itself is lovely, the rooms spacious and the food delicious.  Don't just stop if it's on your way - go our of your way to stop.  It's worth it.

Beautiful and welcoming

Delightful small hotel set in a quiet and private rural setting. The suite is absolutely huge, each with a massive deck overlooking greenery. Some  "normal"rooms are small, so book a suite if available.
We enjoyed our stay and the interaction with the family and then locals on our afternoon walk.
Lack of regular maintenance, is an issue.

Unique.... Different....But needs cheering-up!!

No hot water either morning we were there, but it hardly mattered because of the 8 heads in the shower only about half of one worked. It's not a 3-star hotel. On the plus side, the location is lovely, the room was large, clean and had a terrace - but no furniture on the terrace, so of limited use. Food was distinctly average Moroccan cuisine. I spoke to the manager about the water, who blamed in on an absentee owner. That's nice for him to have an excuse, but not a good answer.

8 showerheads! (One worked...sort of)

Spent two nights here in an enormous suite with a wonderful balcony. Bed was fine but shower a bit hard to conquer. Even in March a bit of heating would not have gone astray, even so I was OK.

Management was extremely welcoming and helpful, nothing seemed a problem.

Location allowed us to explore up the valley and probably experience a side of Morocco.

Reasonable

My room was in the 3rd floor do involved climbing lots of stairs. The room was large and airy with access to a terrace that looked out across the river. Unfortunately the bathroom facilities were very poor. There was a shower and toilet in such s small space it was impossible to shower without wetting entire toilet area. Sink was outside bathroom in bedroom space. Nowhere to put toiletries. 
Staff were excellent and food here was very good.

Lots of stsirs

Our experience was not helped by being here in winter.  The rooms were cold, even after we got the (tiny) heater going.  There was unpredictable hot water.  The only place one could access wifi was on a freezing terrace.  There is inadequate lighting in the rooms and I had to use a torch to unpack.

On the other hand, the rooms are huge and clean.  In fact, our room was a suite.  With sunlight coming in, it was really nice.  And the food is excellent and bountiful.  All of the staff were very kind, very eager to make stay pleasant.

This property received a rating of 2 for:
the location : gorgeous overlooking a river in a pleasant small village. 
Great food though we were a group of 12 staying 2 nights and there was insufficient food on the first night. Following our complaints the situation was well-remedied on the second night. 
Very spacious rooms but not all were spacious so ask to view rooms before checking in. 

On the downside: 
It was winter when we were there recently and quite cold. In some rooms there was a small and ineffective heater. In others there was not. I had to wear woollen gloves to bed as well as thermals. The small but cosy open fire in the dining space was on in the evening but not in the morning because the owner/manager ‘did not have time to light it’. This was remedied the next day after we complained however the glue had obviously not been cleaned and so smoke was coming into the room. 

Our room had hot water on the first evening of our stay but there was no hot or even tepid water after that. Those who did not have any hot water at any time shared showers in others’ rooms. 

Overall not a terrific experience and I would not stay here again.
