Lovely Riad with amazingly helpful staff right in the centre of the Medina. At one point when we were unsure of how to get to a particular spot, one of the staff accompanied us there, above and beyond what they needed to do.

Casa Elias is located exactly in the center of Chefchaouen. Overall the place is nice, there is a nice terrace with a stunning view an good breakfast is served In the morning. The staff is really helpful and kind. They sent us a lot of information about Chefchaouen. However, our room for 4 people was too small. A person 180 cm tall, can't stand without touching the ceiling with the head. In addition, there was no air conditioning, but just a a noisy fan. 
The water in the shower was stuck all the time. In the end, good place but lacking in some aspects. 

Great Location

Overall very cozy. They advertise that there is AC but come to find out it doesn’t work. Our room only had one window so it became uncomfortably hot and humid. WiFi is also very spotty in some areas and can be extremely slow.

Nice but lacking some necessities

Located perfectly central in beautiful and picturesque Chefchaouen, Casa Elias offers well equipped and clean rooms at a rather cheap prize. Omar, the host, was very friendly and left no need unattended. Breakfast was good (including a coffee/tea flatrate) and several places for dinner are just meters away. All in all a very enjoyable stay. I recommend the "studio" with its very own roof terrace.

Good place to stay in the middle of Chefchaouen

Everything was excellent. Great service, excellent location, very clean, very confortable beds and good equipment in the kitchen. The views from the terrace are amazing.

I would really recommend this place. I would go back if I go again to the city.

Great place to enjoy Chefchaouen

Our local travel agent told us we were booked elsewhere, but instead booked us here. At first i thought i was going to be disappointed, but instead i was so pleased with the service of the host. Omar made sure we were well accomodated, gave us tips about going around the blue city, and even had his mother serve us REALLY good dinner!

The place itself was small, but very comfortable. We didn’t mind it, as we were out most of the day and only used the room to rest for the night.

I would highly recommend this property because of 
1) its great location (near the medina and the famous steps with colorful pots)
2) the host’s hospitality 
3) great view from the terrace
4) good food

Very Hospitable Host

Omar was smiling and understanding. My mother wanted to change our room for stairs😬 and he treated us insightfully. It's location was perfect. the watching chefchaouen`s blue houses was pleasurable from terrace.Also it was clean and comfortable 👍
