We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 
We were warmly welcomed and then given some mint tea while our passports were processed. 
Our room was very clean and comfortable with an abundance of hot water.
The breakfast was amazing!
A great choice right in the centre of the medina.

Super central location to the main square. Warm and friendly welcome. Super clean and all necessary modern facilities. Rooms en-suite WiFi throughout and wholesome traditional breakfast. Look no further than Riad Assilah for the ideal well priced accommodation in Chefchaouen, the Blue City

Worth the climb. A wonderful small hotel (17 rooms), that is more than comfortable. Situated in the middle of "The Blue Rif city." Picturesque, and super, super friendly staff. My wife loved the massage. We both loved the cuisine.

We spent 2 night at this riad, it is lovely, people are very polite and the rooms are beautiful. Not too big but nice, the colors are amazing. Their breakfast is delicious with a large variety of breads, jellies, sauces, orange juice, and all the traditional moroccan sweets. The young lady at breakfast is very attentive and has a great personality. This Riad is very closed to the main Plaza and the Alkazaba, the plaza is great, music at night, stores, restaurants, etc. Full of people and action!!!  I need to mention that this Riad is very close to the mosque so you could hear very very early in the morning praying for about 40 mins, at least from our room.  We love Chefchaouen - and we had a great time in this Riad Assilah -- Thank you

We loved our stay at Riad Assilah. The location was excellent, close to the main road( to get dropped by taxi) and the main square in the medina full of restaurants. There was a nice restaurant just across the Riad that served delicious Morrocan food. The room was very comfortable, with charming decoration. The shower was excellent. Our window had the view of the bluest corner of Chefchoen. But the best of the Riad was the manager, Fatiah, she was fantastic. What an adorable person, she was instrumental to make our stay in Chefchauen excellent. I have difficulty to walk and she gave us the best routes and the locations to go every day, she also accommodated my dietary needs for breakfast and she is just a lovely person. We are in another town now and we miss being at Riad Assilah.

I wish we could have stayed longer in this lovely little Riad.  Our room was quite charming and we so enjoyed Fatima (maybe not spelled correctly) the manager. She was so kind and made our stay very special.    We had quite a nice breakfast and for dinner our host arranged for someone to walk us to a restaurant off the square so we would not get lost! 


The location was excellent. The shower had wonderful hot water and the breakfast was very nice. The only drawback was that the man who met the van was alone and could only bring 2 bags from our group. It was a bit of a walk up a slope to reach the riad.

A very comfortable and lovely place to stay.   Staff are so friendly and helpful with any requests.    Location is excellent, so close to the square, an easy walk to the Spanish Mosque to watch sunset and close to the street if you want transport to go elsewhere.   

Stayed one night during our trip to Morocco. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The room was a bit outdated and dark. The noise really travels in the Riad, as a group of tourists came in around midnight and were so loud! This is no fault of the hotel though, but bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper! 

Such a sweet little riad in the heart of Chefchaouen! The rooms are beautiful, colorful and clean, yummy breakfast and close to everything. There are 2 sweet little finches in the center garden who sing all day!
