Riad Casa Blanca is a wonderful traditional riad in a perfect location, in the heart of the Medina. Hosts were always available and room was regularly cleaned, new towels and sheets. 

A gorgeous sunfilled roof terrace to relax with a good book during the afternoon.

The Riad has everything you need and includes the following great features:

Definitely recommend this home and be sure to visit the following cafes/restaurants nearby for great service and food. The Three Little Birds, Restaurant D'Jazy, Umia & La Coupole.

In the heart of the Medina

The owner was amazing and helpful . Rooms are clean and amazing view outside the room. Peaceful place. Very close to the beach, restaurants, fish. And we were allowed to do late checkout without extra charge .

Best stay ever 

Riad Casa Blanca is a basic road hidden down a small pathway in the medina. It is a lovely home with basic but nice comfortable rooms.  Great for a decent place to stay and a good rate.  I think the rooftop is supposed to be especially nice.  The people are nice there and it is very code to a nice spa.  Internet is a bit iffy.  Great place for people who do not need luxury but want ok comfort.

Pleasant road hidden away in the medina

Peaceful Riad compared with others I have stayed in. nice enough rooms basic but nice. They could do with new towels as the are a bit rough. Only bad thing I have to say is the bathroom was not very clean shower didn't want to drain and I did not want to touch it. Loo could also do with a good clean. 
Terrace was perfectly adequate for sitting on the sun and reading your book. 
we stayed just 2 nights at reasonable rate. And the staff where really nice and helpful. 

Peaceful 

This is a fairly budget riad with basic facilities.  WiFi is mainly in reception, but if on an higher level you can lean out of the open central area and just about pick up a signal.  The breakfast is basic, one morning we just had a croissant (not that fresh), coffee, yoghurt and fresh orange juice - a boiled egg and flat breads were added.  Room facilities are at a minimum and we kept having to ask for an extra towel as by default it seemed you were only ever left with one towel.  There was no outside noise, although inside noise (riad layout problems really with everything opening into the middle) could wake you up with people opening and closing doors.windows.  You're hard pressed to see the sea from the sun terrace, but it's there if you want it.

That all said, it was clean, the staff were very nice and helpful, the area is well located in the Medina for most things and felt safe - more than acceptable for western / North European tastes.  The Medina itself is very walk-able, but there are some key bars and restaurants very nearby and off course the port itself.  Most of all it was a fair price.

Easy to get to.  Took a taxi from the airport (150D) and asked to be dropped off at the port TAXI rank / carpark.  Walked across the large square (at least 3 ATM's here, which always had money even in the height of the music festival that was on) and past Taros bar/cafe on your left, then take the first passage (almost a tunnel) on your left and it's towards the end on the right.  You can't miss it, it's opposite Azur Art & Spa (often sign posted at the start of the tunnel) and has LED fairy lights around the door.  If the door is closed, knock and someone will open.

Nice area, Medina budget riad

This place was pleasant. It was peaceful, quiet, and cozy. I loved that it was right in the old medina. The best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! It was good to have a nice place, conveniently located right when I got into Essaouira late at night.
