Everything was amazing! The hosts are really nice people. The place looks amazing, the breakfast was very good, it is very clean. They helped us with everything. One of the best experiences we had in Morocco. We strongly recommend this place!

Really beautiful place and helpful hosts

It is a very nice Riad, located in a very nice and quiet area which is not in the middle of the Medina. Our hoast Mohammad was also very very nice and helpful. We thank him a lot for making our trip so easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was also really good and tasty. After all a very nice and clean Riad, which we would recommend 😊

Enjoyed our stay

Excellent riyad. No complaints, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I would give five stars to hospitality, breakfast times were flexible and i had a chance to launder my clothes during my visit.

Visit

We really loved Fes as a city but would not recommend staying here. 

We tried to call the hotel for someone to show us the way and bring our luggage but to no avail. When we arrived, we were very tired after a long trip but we still had to wait for a bit. In the end, our room was cancelled because of some maintenance issues. The owner did help us find a place to stay for the first night at a different riad (Dar Hafsa, which was honestly nicer than this one), and then we had to shift our things again to this riad naila for the second night.

One of the ground floor rooms had stairs to the toilet, so if you have elderly parents or ability needs, its not a good place to stay. The other room that I was allocated did not have working lights (this was the maintenance issue).

It is abit out of the centre of the medina, but this means it is near the road.

We had to leave early to catch a train and the owner could not accommodate an early breakfast, unlike other places. He gave us a bag of fruits and did not help us to find a taxi to the train station. I would honestly say the service here is quite bad compared to other riads.

Many problems

If I could give more than 5 stars I would definitely.
The stay at Naila Fes has been fantastic since the first minutes, when we were welcomed warmly even if we were late due to the customs and traffic. The position is excellent, 2 minutes walk from the Medina and close to a street and parking where the taxi or rental car can easily arrive.
Our room n.1 was like living in an Arab fairytale, super comfortable and spacious, while dinner and breakfasts were exquisite.
But the most important thing is the high level of service and courtesy provided by Mehdi and his family, which was discreet and always efficient to plan the best transfers and tours with his partners, all of which proved to be excellent!! We'll be back for sure

Highly recommended

The riad is beautiful, clean and well located in the medina right out the market area. The owner is very kind and offered us everything we needed. We also had dinner here with local dishes, strongly recommended.

Very nice place in Fes

The deluxe double rooms are amazing. It has a canopy bed :) and an internal stairway that leads to your private bathroom!!
The Patio looks like a museum with wooden sculpted doors and and beautiful colorful ornaments. A real paradise.

Beautiful Riad

We stayed in Fes just for a few days on the long weekend of 11-14 november (11 of november is a french national holiday). We were welcomed by the host Muhammed in the warmest way imaginable. We had nice conversation drinking tea (in italian, our language), he advised us with whom to go on daily trips and what to see in the city, the daily trip morning he prepared breakfast for us in advance because we would have left at 8, and he made us also a takeaway breakfast on the last day! We were in one of the upper rooms, the stay was comfortable.

Amazing stay in Fes medina

It is very nice to me when I'm staying in a foreign country and the staff at the place Im staying at treat me with such familiarity, courtesy and humbleness that makes my staying UNFORGETABBLE !
That was the case when I stayed at an affordable Riad called Naila; a beautiful, clean, close to Fes' Old Medina and with a traditional architecture/decoration that really makes you feel you are in an Arabic place.
The person in charge, Muhammed, is a great, and friendly human being who treats everyone with such respect and humbleness that makes you feel you've known him for a long time.
There are many examples of his great hospitality, but one that stuck in my head is when one time I was a little thirsty and He has run out of water to sell, and instead of sending me to the store,  He  went himself to get me a big bottle of water :-))
He is very resourceful as well. He called his barber so he could come over to the Riad and shave my face....for only 50 MADs...!
He is also a great cook, willing to share his recipes with you, as He did with my daughter because she REALLY enjoyed a tomato sauce he prepared for our breakfast.   :-))
There is No Doubt I will come back to Riad Naila in the future and see my new friend Muhammed.

The staff at the Riad is wonderful, hospitable and very accommodating. The room is very clean and the location is very convenient. We were presented with options to book excursions/privates guides and the host assisted in arranging transportation upon departure. The dining area is stunning and I would not hesitate to book another stay at Riad Naila.
