The best place to stay in tanger, beautiful hostel located in the heart Of old medina tanger, beautiful terrace, very clean, stuff very professional, only 5 minutes by taxi from the train station , many thanks to all the staff

What a amazing place in the heart of old medina

My friends and I had a great time staying at Bayt Alice last month! The employees were very helpful with setting up airport transportation, giving us food recommendations, and making sure that our stay was comfortable and convenient. The location was amazing, but the star of the show was the fantastic rooftop with views of the city and Mediterranean. Even though there were 7 of us in one room, it felt much more spacious than other hostels I have stayed at.

The best experience for the lowest price!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in a private room with en-suite. The rooms were clean but unfortunately quite loud at night (although this could have been our specific room - maybe better for louder travellers who want to stay up socialising late into the night). The hostel was in a great location, with short walk to most sites.

Good hostel but quite loud

I stayed 4 nights here, and loved it! This is a cute hostel right in the Medina. Easy to walk to great food, coffee and markets. My room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great Medina hostel

Lovely hostel set in the old city. It cost me a bit more than some of the other places I stayed at in Morocco but to be fair it was also probably nicer. My room had 2 showers, there is a ton of seating areas and a rooftop area with great views and a few hammocks; it is also where you find free breakfast each morning which is lovely and all you can eat. I had a late flight and they allowed me to stay in hostel until 7/8pm free of charge.
1 complaint is WiFi, they have 1 router on 2nd floor and it didn't reach my bed on ground floor or rooftop. They really should have a router on each floor. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much more to do it.

Nice hostel

Stayed here one night on my passage to the south. The reception was great. One of the first things they do is give you a map and talk you through all the places in Tangier and the medina. Found it very helpful.
The rooftop breakfast is great and the staff very warm and helpful.
The hostel is located near the edge of the medina southside, very calm yet right at the heart of the medina.

Nice welcoming place on a good location 

Bayt Alice is located in a charming multilevel house, and the adjoining rooms for us and our two college-age kids was very nice with lots of character.  The rooftop breakfast was good. The staff was helpful ad gave good advice for places to eat and things to see in Tangier.  The only drawback is its location within the old city:  it was a little difficult to find, and the street/alley right outside the hostel is a little unkept; for first-time visitors making our way through unfamiliar side-streets, it felt a little uncomfortable until we found the hostel.  Once we familiarized ourselves with the maze around the hostel and learned the most direct routes to the main streets, we felt more secure.

Charming adjoining rooms for 4

i had a nice stay for 2 nights at bayt alice  and be back for 2 more nights, it was a nice experience to me and my friend , the hostel and the hosts were adorable ;nothing to complaint about ! thank you

Excellent !

Quite bad experience unfortunately and really disappointed 
- no window except a very small one that doesn’t let sun come into the room
- Very bad smell as there is no big window its was difficult to evacuate 
- Very noisy : 
- Not that clean : carpets were dirty 
- The breakfast is a real joke there is no Moroccan tea which is a must for a Moroccan hotel 

If u are looking for comfort and a real typical Moroccan  place it’s definately not the place to be !!!
If you are a backpacker with low budget the dormitory might be a convenient option but not worth paying the price for the double room !!!


Very bad experience don’t trust positive comment

I stayed 1 night in single room. Room was nice, but the bed was small, stiff and uncomfortable. The light in the shower room was unstable.
When check-in, the staff dropped my passport on purpose while I was trying to connecting wifi. I took it was very disrespectful and I was disappointed and sad. I didn’t think the staffs were helpful.
Location was great, nice restaurant nearby, enjoyed reading at the wonderful terrace but neighborhood was noisy and dirty (the garbage scattered everywhere). 
I won’t come back for sure.
