Serenity and natural beauty. A riad we discovered in the medina of Meknes where we spent three nights as a family to visit the area. A riad that also has a fantastic and always attentive staff and above all a welcome from our Amina the pearl of this magical place.

It's unforgettable.

The riad is fabulous, it's in the old town, with an atypical décor. The staff is very nice and caring for their guests. The pool is very nice in a very traditional decoration and the setting is so quiet. We came by chance and we'll be back.

It's incredible.

Riyadh very nice and very clean, very nice and caring staff. The breakfast was very pleasant. Very relaxing inside and walking to the city centre and restaurants. We had a good stay. I write a little more sentence because it takes at least 200 characters🤣

Have a good time.

Terrible place. It does not qualify to be called a hotel. It is in a dingy and dodgy area. My Meknes resident host was uncomfortable walking in the alleys leading up to the place. The corridors were dark. I had to book another hotel because as was concerned for my safety. Pictures on the internet are misleading.

Repulsive Riad Meknes.

It is a charming place, the only difficulty is to find the Riad in the winding streets of Meknes! Very well maintained with plants, a pool of water and a beautiful open courtyard. The rooms were large and pleasant. We felt very comfortable. At our request a wonderful breakfast was prepared.

Wonderful and authentic

We had booked two rooms in December. Both were very nicely decorated in Moroccan style. One was huge with lots of pillows and carpets, the other was rather small, but with a sky bed. The rig is very difficult to find - we were finally locked here by the car park guards. The rig itself is very twisted with a lot of attention to detail. It had a very nice courtyard and an outdoor pool - both of which we unfortunately could not use in December. The big room had an air conditioner that really needed to heat the room - but it was never more than 17 degrees and the bathroom was without any heating and therefore very cold. The smaller room only lasted with a radiator and heated very early. Also, the early 14 degrees was not really hot in the community room (but it was really hot in the early December).

It's great in spring and autumn. It's too cold in winter.

Polite staff, and very accomodating of you as a guest. Stay mostly out of your way which is quite nice as you feel more at ease while at the riad.

Big bummer was the pool had been drained when i visited, and i felt a bit sick one morning after the eggs - but i honestly dont hold it against them. pool could have been a

One of the better Riad's in Meknes

Small riad quite well placed at the gates of the Medina. Cold home (which is even amazing in Morocco), our ground floor room was quite spacious and had a bathroom lacking in comfort and questionable cleanliness... no wifi in the rooms... lack of amenities, human warmth and comfort for a 3 star.

disappointing

The Riyadh is very nice, but it could have been more carefully maintained. The room was clean, we seemed to have the original materials and furniture, but with little maintenance. The service, the breakfast and the location were the most positive things we highlighted. The surrounding streets were dirty and a little degraded.

Night in the Mekenes

Really beautiful riad, we had a very large room for the four of us. You can rest in the nice courtyard or close to the small swimming pool. Breakfast is fantastic. It is not easy to find but we parked in the close parking lot and they came to pick up us. The restaurant was closed but they suggest  a restaurant  nearby that was  one of the best we went in our trip. They do not speak English and credit card are not accepted.
