We stayed at Hotel Palace for one night on our way to the desert and had the most amazing welcome from all the staffs but particularly from the manager who was at the reception. He really went out of his way to accommodate us with everything and make us feel at home!
A perfect place for a desert entry!!

Amazing welcome!

Giving this place only 1 star because of only one reason. My bed linen was NOT fresh. This is not a mistake, few little think convinced me that somebody already slept on that linen before me.
I understand people stay only one night in this place, so somebody decided to save on washing or saving time not changing bedding

The place is absolutely stunning. Exceeded my expectations for being a hotel in the middle of the desert. The food was very delicious and the restaurant atmosphere was cute. Both pools were very well kept and looked great during the day and night, too bad it was too cold to enjoy either, but inshallah one day in the summer ill be back! This place is very family friendly, based on the rooms and activities offered. The staff were very friendly as well. Thank you!!

Amazing place

Helpful and welcoming staff. Beautiful pools. Comfortable large room with individual patio. Fun camel ride to desert camp was a highlight. Food in dining room that caters to large groups.manager was solicitous and charming. We had a memorable time.

A memorable time

Nice hotel located in the middle of the desert.  Very nice people working there.  Rooms are large and comfortable.  Two nice pools on the premises.  The food is good but we were surprised we had to pay for water, since we cannot drink the tap water.  But the dining room is not clean at all.  They don't clean the tables after the meals, so there are a lot of flies on the food, on the tables and all around.  It wasn't very interesting to put our hands on the table and have them get dirty because they touched food that had been there since previous meals.  The sanitation of the dining room is not at all recommendable.

The experience in the Nomad Palace was amazing. The staff is lovely and the food was delicious. It’s clear that they love the dunes and the desert,and they convey it in their words.Hightly recommended

Amazing experience

Lovely hotel, next to the dunes, ideal to disconnect and relax. Big rooms fully equipped, two amazing swimming pools where you can see the desert, and incredible people to help and guide you. An incredible experience!!!

Peacefully hotel close to Sahara

We stayed for 2 nights at Nomad Palace, booked by our National Geographic/G Adventures tour with our two teenagers. Overall, this was an excellent hotel. The location at the foot of the Sahara dunes cannot be beat. Most of the rooms are on the ground floor, although there are a few on the second story. There is also roof access, which was wonderful for star gazing. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and there was also heating and AC-- most hotels we stayed out did not have AC as an option. Food was mixed. The breakfast buffet was kind of sad and our meal the first night was mediocre, but our vegetable tagine one afternoon was one of the best meals we ate in Morocco and the dinner of a beef tagine with prunes was also excellent. Our second night, we enjoyed a bonfire and music with the Amazingh.

Pro Tips:  
Request rooms with views of the dunes. We were in a side room with no view. 

You can book a camel ride up the dunes at sunset. This was the most amazing experience we had in our whole 2 weeks in Morocco. The camel ride was great fun and the view from the top of the dunes was awe striking- a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Also, if you ask they will bring snowboards up and our kids had the most amazing fun riding the dunes.

Also, don't miss touring the dunes on a 4x4!

Location Can't Be Beat: Don't miss my pro tips!

The decor here is beautiful.  Our room was amazing.  Only reason I did not give this property 5 stars is because they do all of their meals buffet-style, and the food was not as good as the other places that we stayed.

Lovely Place

My room was nice and spacious with aircondition. The hotel itself is lovely, with several places to sit and relax. You can also enjoy a dip in the pools, a coffe on the terasse with a beautiful view of Erg Chebbi. I also enjoyed a cameltour through the breathtaking sand dunes to a luxurious camp where I stayed the night and enjoyed good food, live music and an unbelievable star sky. Extra thanks to my camel guide Moha, who was very professional and accomodating. I also appreciated the respect he showed for the camels (unfortunately I also saw camel guides who didn't treat these amazing animals well). 
    The only reasons I don't give Nomad Palace Hotel 5 stars is that the WiFi didn't work most of the time. And although the food was good, the dinners were far too big and way too often at least one meal was chicken. I would have preferred more variety. Also the bed was really hard and the showerholder was broken.
    But the staff were all very friendly, service minded and professional, so I would gladly stay at Nomad Palace again.
