We spent the night here en route by car from Casablanca to Agadir and the lagoon nearby looked appealing. Our main purpose though was to have a really good seafood meal, especially oysters and this is the Moroccan oyster capital. The hotel was very friendly and has recently been renovated and looks to be of quite a high standard. Our visit was in mid September so still quite hot and the fan in the room was only just adequate. The meal we had earlier though was very good and the oysters and Prawns were magnifique!

If you are driving as we were I would certainly recommend stopping off here.

Clean, good value and a very good restaurant.

Just renovated so clean and fresh. I ate fresh crab in their restaurant and it was delicious. Lovely owner/manager who took time out to chat with me. As a solo traveller this sort of welcome makes all the difference. I love the lagoon, but this visit the water was too rough and too cold to swim. I will definitely return.

Well run good little hotel in a great location

A single nights stop-off but the hotel was under renovation so we were moved to an apartment nearby. The actual hotel is in a great location adjacent to the lagoon and also  a few minutes walk to the ocean side.Great little restaurant dining area where we only had breakfast. 
Cannot fully review the hotel stay but the stay in the alternative apartment considering the circumstances was more than acceptable. It was in a very quiet area (Oualidia at that time of the year is very quiet) and had all the basic amenities.
Both the owner Jacques and and his wife were very professional, courteous and friendly during our stay.
Also, I had forgotten that for this part of my stay, I had to pay in the hotel so left in the morning for Essaouira and then Marrakech without paying. I was quite embarrassed by this but his situation was handled very professionally by Jaques and the payment was taken two days later.
In summary: Great location right next to the lagoon, good staff and even better management. I recommend you stay here if in Oualidia as its also very cheap.

Great little Hotel, even better location.

i have been to the restaurant together with my familly for lunch , all the options we asked for was really fresh and tasty , their oysters are amazingly tasty , salads and apetizer were freshly made , overall it is really worth to try if you ever pass by . the staff are also friendly and polite and will help you choose from the menu as they are knowledgeable about it .

tasty and fresh seafood 

This small hotel has several plusses: location - very, very close to the beaches - both the lagoon and the Atlantic and its own in-house restaurant - that serves nice food. As a solo traveler I don't necessarily recommend Oualidia - there isn't that much to do other than walking and the beach- - but this hotel is nice. It's affordable, clean, and friendly. Other reviewers have commented on the size of the rooms - yup, they aren't spacious -and it's not a luxury hotel - there are others in the area that fil that bill better. So, it all depends on what you're looking for (and how you like to spend your travel money!)

The manager was very nice. I needed to exchange money, and he drove me to a nearby bank. Had a great chat on his views of the area, and appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond. This hotel also arranged a driver for me to get me to my next location, and I appreciated that a great deal too.

Sweet little affordable hotel with great in-house restaurant and excellent location.

we came there for a late birthday dinner and chilled a while on the terrace because we were a bit early for the kitchen. personnel was friendly, prices ok and beer was a pleasant surprise. the atmosphere is rather european and the garden well-kept, we didn't mind to wait around. 
after some unwell days we couldn't trust our bellies with seafood alone. we ordered some seafood entree which was ok, as well as omelette and pizza which we cannot recommend. to be honest, we fed it to the cats. go there if you want seafood and alcohol, but if not go somewhere else!

nice touristic restaurant 

My husband and I stayed there in September 2017 for 8 nights. We had a fantastic time in Oualidia! It's a beautiful little village, good for those who seek quiet and want a good rest from crazy Marrakesh or Casablanca. The hotel and it's restaurant are very clean, the food was the best from all places nearby, the Moroccan wine was great so we've brought a few bottles back to England. The manager of the hotel Jacques is a fantastic guy. He's very friendly, helpful and entertaining, he told us a lot about the life in Morocco and his own life. Have a chat with him and you'll be amazed :)

Lovely little hotel in a quiet and beautiful Oualidia!

This hotel is located very closely to the main beach. The rooms are clean but the bathroom are extremely small. There is no hotel lobby to speak of, right in front of the reception there is the restaurant. We liked the rooftop where you have a nice view of the beach. 

We will always remember that last morning where we were served by a completely drunk waiter, he was mumbling some non-sense and about to fall on the floor before a real waiter came in to kick him out.
