This was a really nice property - needs a refurbishment. Also best Thai massage ever !

There were fully clothed people getting in the pool and some of them cleaning their shoes inside the pool. This was a bit of a turn off! 

Beautiful resort … a bit run down

You want to escape from the busy moroccan town, just a 3 hour drive from Casablanca, you can fully relax and enjoy the moment; the property is beautiful;
I do recommend the place and, just go with the flow.
Aya from the reception was great, and also Karim from the boat ride on the lake.
You have the car, drive one hour to the Ouzoud waterfalls, really worth the trip, an amazing site to visit, not to be missed.

Beautiful experience

Fantastic facilities. Great view, beautiful lakeside location. 2 great pools. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff specialy Aya from reception and Karim from the boattrip. Only 1 hour from marvellous Ouzud waterfalls. Highly recommended.

Briliant Experience.

We had an above extraordinary experience, we enjoyed every little second of our stay. From the first welcome till the last goodbye, every single staff member gave us a lifetime memory. Thank you all.

Extraordinary experience

This hotel doesn’t deserve its 5-star rating; at best, it should be rated two stars due to cleanliness issues, poor staff, and subpar service. From the start, the check-in process was terrible, with an unreasonably long waiting time. The receptionist, Ismail, was particularly rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in customer service skills. It’s the worst service I have ever encountered.

The rooms were dirty and did not resemble what is shown on social media, especially Instagram. Everything presented online is misleading. The food was also disappointing; room service quality was unacceptable.

The only positive aspect was the security staff, who were welcoming and professional. However, the night shift staff, particularly Ismail, were horrible.

Management should take note of these issues, especially the director, if they are even aware of what’s happening in their hotel. It’s a shame and a huge disappointment. A hotel shouldn’t just focus on social media presence or bringing in influencers to show off fake impressions—reality matters.

Hotels should prioritize treating customers well and providing a great experience to encourage repeat business.

I will never return to this hotel, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

A 5-Star Disappointment: A Reality Far from Social Media Hype.  Terrible Experience: Rude Staff and Dirty Rooms

Beautiful hotel with nice grounds, spacious modern rooms and nice restaurant. 
One problem is the service. Asked for an iron before we left for a 10:30 boat ride and lunch returning around 2:30. No iron in room and had to ask again. It finally came before 7:30 meet up for dinner 
But worse, before 10:30 I told the front desk that our A/C did not work and had an “E” for thermostat error. They said they would send technician up to resolve. While in bed at 11:00 pm, door bell rings and rings. Get out of bed and open door and technician wants to come in to check.  Wife and I are half naked and I politely said no, when I shouldn’t have been so quiet and nice. In my opinion, that type of service sucks for an upscale hotel trying to exude luxury status. Leaving this

Beautiful but lacking service.

This hotel has it all at decent prices but what really stood out for us was the friendliness and effort among all the staff. Food is excellent - scenery and facilities are superb. My only complaint is the freezing temperature of all three pools - none were heated. But we didn’t let that spoil an amazing getaway for the family 

An amazing hotel and location

It was a great stay. Went back home fully recharged . Kids had fun . Weather is amazing . Staff is very friendly . Put a 4 star instead of five because of the breakfast but overall the food in both restaurants for luck and dinner is good. We’ll be definitely coming back

Perfect spot for nature and sports lovers . Kids friendly

We had a wonderful stay in the Widiane Resort. Big room and private balcony. Super comfortable beds. Very attentive service. Nice clean bathrooms. Drinking water provided. All great. Beautiful place also and the value was right I thought. 

Great stay

The worst restaurant manager ever dealt with!  Very rude restaurant manager, arrogant and no sense of business , the food was served cold and it took them an 1:30minutes between service starters and main course! All orders were late and no sense of customer service in their restaurant meanwhile the hotel looks good and rest of the staff were nice except that bold restaurant manager and we’ll never recommend staying at this hotel unless they have better service
